Ava: The Secret Conversations will join the Geffen Playhouse 2022/2023 season lineup to complete the full season.

The Grammy winner, who also wrote and recorded the original song featured in the episode, entitled “Get It On The Floor,” was seen in the role of Tina Snow on the critically acclaimed STARZ drama.

Playwrights Foundation has announced the special events for this summer's 45th Annual Bay Area Playwrights Festival (BAPF), allowing audiences members and theater industry leaders additional opportunities to engage with new theater; connect with the playwrights, directors, and artists participating in 2022 BAPF; and mingle with fellow theater lovers.

Casting has been announced for the North American tour ofTINA – THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL. The tour will hold technical rehearsals and launch at  the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, Rhode Island on September 11, 2022 and go on to  visit 30 cities in its first year.

Playwrights Foundation has announced the artistic teams for this summer's 45th Annual Bay Area Playwrights Festival (BAPF) which will be presented as a hybrid (in-person and streamed) festival July 29 - August 7, 2022.

Due to popular demand, Studio Theatre is adding performances to its season-ending production of The Hot Wing King; the production now runs through August 7, 2022.

The compromises, commitments, camaraderie, and fractious relationships of a non-traditional family are explored with immediacy and sophisticated insight by Ms. Hall. Like all superbly written plays, one is continually taken by surprise as the play develops and nothing is as expected. The writing here is on the caliber of playwrights Annie Baker or August Wilson.

PRIMARY STAGES announced casting for On That Day in Amsterdam by Clarence Coo (People Sitting in Darkness) and directed by Zi Alikhan (The Boy Who Danced on Air). On That Day in Amsterdam will begin previews at 59E59’s Theater A on July 23, 2022, with opening night set for August 11 for a limited run through September 4, 2022.
