COMING OUT to be Viewable Online Through December

A complete video of J.T. McDaniel's award nominated dark comedy COMING OUT is now viewable online through the end of 2013. Shot during the last three performances of the world premier run, and featuring the complete original cast, the video is available at the play's website, www.ComingOutThePlay.com. COMING OUT was produced at The Abbey Theater of Dublin by Creatures Plays Corporation, directed by Colleen Dunne, and starred author McDaniel, Brenda Newsom, Jim LeVally, Martha Kathryn Smith, Ashley Collins, Chris Wharton, Jai Furlong, Will 'TuTail' Smith, and Grace Rinehart.

COMING OUT Wraps Run at Abbey Theater of Dublin this Weekend

The world premier limited run of the new J.T. McDaniel dark comedy COMING OUT at The Abbey Theater of Dublin will conclude with performances at 8:00 PM on Friday, October 18, and at 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Saturday, October 19.

COMING OUT Enters Second Weekend of Performances on National Coming Out Day, 10/11

COMING OUT begins the second week of its three weekend run at The Abbey Theater of Dublin with an 8:00 pm performance on National Coming Out Day, Friday, October 11. Written by Dublin adventure novelist J.T. McDaniel, and directed by Colleen Dunne, the two act dark comedy plays Fridays at 8:00 pm and Saturdays at 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm through October 19.

Madison Opera Names Kathryn Smith as New General Director

Kathryn Smith, the current general director of Tacoma Opera and former assistant artistic administrator at the Metropolitan Opera, will begin as general director of Madison Opera on July 1, 2011. Madison Opera's Board of Trustees voted to appoint Smith at a meeting this evening, ending a national search to replace former general director Allan Naplan.
