It is today announced that acclaimed husband and wife composing and producing team James Morgan and Juliette Pochin will release their debut album as duo Piano Hands. Christmas Piano is a reimagined Christmas album featuring brand new interpretations of well-known popular and classical pieces. Having performed in some of the most iconic venues around the world, multi-award winning performer Katherine Jenkins will soon add a handful of prestigious theatres in Australia to the list, with a national tour of the country scheduled for November.

The MacDowell Colony has awarded fellowships to 86 artists from 18 states and nine countries. Fellows will arrive from Texas, Maine, and Montana, and from as far as Chile, Australia, China, and Israel. They are working in seven disciplines, and 29 percent identify as culturally diverse. The CIT Cork School of Music percussion department collaborate for the first time with the percussion ensemble “Millennial Percussion” from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and its artistic director Adrian Spillet (principal percussionist with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra), and the conservatoire's percussion lecturers Sophie Hastings and Cormac Byrne.
