DOG MOM to Open at Florida Studio Theatre

Florida Studio Theatre will stage DOG MOM, a new comedy by Tate Elizabeth Hanyok, as part of a National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere. Directed by Nancy Rominger, the production runs in FST's Keating Theatre in Sarasota.

American Renaissance Theater Company to Present Double Header of FASTENED TO THE MOON and LOVE, SEX & REAL ESTATE

American Renaissance Theater Company kicks off their 2022-23 season with two new plays presented in rotation, Fastened to The Moon by Linda Kampley directed by Kathleen Swan and Love, Sex and Real Estate by Bill Cosgriff directed by John D. McNally. Performances begin at the Chain Theater (312 W. 36th Street 4th Floor) starting Thursday September 15th and run thru Saturday October 1st.

FLY ON THE WALL THEATRE Presents A Staged Reading of The Shadow of a Gunman by Sean O'Casey January 19-20

Fly on the Wall Theatre presents a Staged Reading of Sean O'Casey's Tragic-Comedy, The Shadow of a Gunman - the first play in his Dublin Trilogy. During the Irish War of Independence, a young poet is mistaken for an IRA gunman on the run. At first, he enjoys his new found notoriety, but in 1920's Ireland, there's a price to be paid for being the 'shadow' of a gunman. Directed by Rod Ceballos (cited by Now Magazine for Outstanding Direction/2013 Toronto Fringe), the reading will take place at Fionn MacCool's Restaurant/Pub (181 University Avenue) on January 19th and 20th, 2014.
