Digital Lottery Announced for A COMMERCIAL JINGLE FOR REGINA COMET

A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet, the first new musical to premiere in New York City since the shutdown began, announced today a digital lottery for $39 tickets to the show. The lottery will be available for select performances. Lottery opens the day before the performance at 10:00AM and winners will be drawn two hours before the performance.

A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet, the first new musical to premiere in New York City since the shutdown began, begins performances tomorrow, Friday, September 17th at the DR2 Theatre (103 E. 15th Street), ahead of an official opening night set for Monday, September 27, with the strictly limited engagement set to run through Sunday, November 14th, 2021.

Featuring book, music, and lyrics by Alex Wyse ('Indoor Boys', Spring Awakening) and Ben Fankhauser (Newsies, Beautiful), with direction by Marshall Pailet (Baghdaddy, Triassic Parq), this world premiere musical begins previews on Friday, September 17th, at the DR2 Theatre (103 E. 15th Street), with an opening night set for Monday, September 27th.

Announced today is the complete casting for the world premiere off-Broadway musical A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet. Starring as ‘Regina Comet’ is Bryonha Marie Parham, who will be joined by A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet creators Alex Wyse, and Ben Fankhauser to complete the cast.

The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts announced today that Jason Robert Brown, Savion Glover, Priscilla López, Susan Stroman, Marisha Wallace, and Christopher Wheeldon have joined the growing list of Broadway stars participating in I'm Still Here: A Virtual Benefit for the Billy Rose Theatre Division, airing June 23, 2021 on Broadway On Demand at 8pm EST and 8pm PST. The fundraiser will help raise critical funds for the Library for the Performing Arts' beloved Theatre Division as it celebrates its 90th anniversary this year.

The Visit is the final musical ever written by legendary Oscar Award®, Grammy Award® and Tony Award®-winning composer John Kander and his writing partner lyricist Fred Ebb, before Mr. Ebb passed away.
