Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of The New Englanders, the new play by Jeff Augustin (Little Children Dream of God) and directed by Saheem Ali (Sugar in Our Wounds), begins performances tonight at MTC's The Studio at Stage II a?" The Harold and Mimi Steinberg New Play Series (131 West 55th Street). Opening night is set for Wednesday, October 2.

MTC announced ticketing information today for four upcoming world premiere productions in Manhattan Theatre Club's upcoming 2019-2020 season, off-Broadway at New York City Center.

Circle in the Square Theatre School (Paul Libin, President, E. Colin O'Leary, Executive Director, and Susan Frankel, Chief Operating Officer of Circle in the Square Theatre), Pigasus Institute (Zachary Spicer, Chairman), and Rachel Shuey, recently announced a new reading series, The Circle Series. Leading into the launch of the first reading next week, they are excited to announce members of the creative teams and a special partnership with citizenM Hotel.   Each Monday beginning in August, performers will bring Circle in the Square to life on its traditional dark night with The Circle Series.

The Public Theater announced the sixth season of PUBLIC STUDIO today, which will present two new works this spring. Today, the American Black Film Festival (ABFF) continues its 22-year legacy of providing a platform for diverse storytelling and emerging filmmakers, by announcing the 2018 official selections in all screening categories. The festival returns to Miami Beach, FL from June 13-17.
