Concord Theatricals / Craft Recordings will soon release the cast recording of the critically acclaimed Broadway revival of the New York City Center Encores! production of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods on September 30 on streaming and digital platforms worldwide. The CD will be released on December 2, followed by vinyl on March 17, 2023. Check out a video of Gavin Creel and Joshua Henry recording 'Agony' in the studio!

The Original Broadway Cast Recording of Into the Woods will be released on September 30 on streaming and digital download. Physical CDs will be available December 2, with a vinyl release planned for March 12, 2023. Watch this video as Sara Bareilles records 'Moments in the Woods'.

Producers Hunter Arnold and Kayla Greenspan announced that Jefferson Mays’ universally celebrated, one man virtuoso, tour-de-force performance in Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol will be coming to Broadway this holiday season for a strictly limited 66-performance engagement at the Nederlander Theatre. Mr. Mays, who is currently performing as Mayor Shinn ten blocks north in The Music Man, will depart that role on October 23rd.

Into the Woods, the first Broadway show of the 2022/2023 season is now open at the St. James Theatre. The production stars Gavin Creel as The Wolf/Cinderella's Prince, Joshua Henry as Rapunzel's Prince, Aymee Garcia as Jack's Mother, and more. After missing performances due to sickness, Sara Bareilles will be returning to Into the Woods! Into the Woods is directed by Lear deBessonet (in her Broadway debut), music direction by Rob Berman with The Encores! Orchestra, and choreography by Lorin Latarro. Into the Woods is dedicated to the memory of Stephen Sondheim.

Into the Woods, which was previously set to conclude its 8-week limited run on August 21, will extend an additional eight weeks through October 16, 2022 at the St. James Theatre.

Performances officially began on June 28 for the star-studded New York City Center Encores! production of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim's beloved musical, Into the Woods, at the St. James Theatre.
