The current production at the Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire is Beautiful, the Carole King Musical. This is more than a jukebox musical. It tells the amazing story of one of the greatest songwriters of the 20th Century and how her story evolved. It begins with Carole’s June 1971 concert at Carnegie Hall.

The Green Room 42 will present Ben Caplan's Not-Quite Birthday Show, an evening of Caplan's music and lyrics featuring performances from Alexandra Silber (Fiddler on the Roof, Indecent) Fergie L. Philippe (Hamilton) and Shereen Pimentel (Maria in West Side Story, “John Mulaney & The Sack Lunch Bunch”).

Alumni stars of the stage will join with current students in the Ithaca College School of Music, Theatre, and Dance on Friday, November 11, for a special show in the Broadway Ballroom of the Marriott Marquis in New York City's Times Square.

I thoroughly enjoyed the production alongside an equally energetic crowd who delightfully sang along and met the cast with an enthusiastic standing ovation.

The national tour of Jersey Boys is coming to the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts tonight, May 10, and is running through May 22.
