Berkeley Rep Extends Avett Brothers Musical SWEPT AWAY

Due to overwhelming demand from enthusiastic theatregoers in 42 states, Berkeley Rep has announced that the world premiere musical Swept Away will extend for an additional two weeks. Previews begin on Sunday, January 9 with the show originally scheduled to close on February 13.

The video features an acoustic performance by Garlin, her producer Julie Wolf and Kate Isenberg. Orlando Shakespeare Theater (Orlando Shakes) in Partnership with UCF will hold its 9th Annual John R. Hamilton Mock Trial on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the John and Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center. This year's trial will be the Senate Confirmation Hearing of Ferdinand, the King of Navarre (from Love's Labour's Lost) for the post of Secretary of Labour. The Margeson Theater will transform into an interactive courtroom as actors from the show improv their way through the trial amidst a panel of celebrity judges.
