Enjoy a devilish twist on America's favorite pastime this October! Musical Theatre West's (MTW) production of Damn Yankees will take audiences through a Faustian fun-fest that celebrates love, baseball, and the importance of an escape clause.

Batter up! Baseball is back, and so is the latest production from Musical Theatre West. Long Beach's premier theatre company presents the seven-time Tony award-winning musical Damn Yankees to its stage for select nights October 14th- 30th.

Long Beach's Musical Theatre West has announced its cast for the upcoming production of Damn Yankees, set to debut for select dates through October 30th. Broadway and West End star, Lesli Margherita, will return to the MTW stage to play the role of Lola.

Mamma Mia! begins performances on March 17 in advance of its opening night on March 19 running through May 1, 2022. The Argyle Theatre (34 West Main Street, Babylon, Long Island).

Long Island's largest year-round professional theatrical venue, The Argyle Theatre, will present the Broadway hit Mamma Mia! written by Catherine Johnson with music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus and directed and choreographed by Antoinette DiPietropolo with musical direction by Jonathan Brenner. The REV Theatre company will continue its special reopening season themed “Reunion, Recovery, Resilience” with its second production – Footloose.  Opening on August 4th, and running through September 1 at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Emerson Park, Footloose returns to the Playhouse for the first time in 18 years.

Medwish International hosts Music for Medwish an intimate evening featuring some of Broadway's best in Los Angeles on Monday, April 15th at 8pm at the Rockwell Table and Stage (1714 N Vermont Ave). Produced by Broadway actress and producer Betsy Werbel (Wicked) the event raises funds for Medwish, a not-for-profit organization that repurposes discarded medical supplies and equipment to provide humanitarian aid around the world saving lives - and the environment.

On August 2, 2018, Sing For Your Seniors (SFYS) hosted the latest in its series of Broadway Sessions with cast members from the National Tour of 'Les Miserables' for the residents of Briarwood Nursing Home and Rehab Center in Denver while on their stop at the Denver Center of the Performing Arts. SFYS partnered with Denver nonprofit Bessie's Hope, an organization that enhances the quality of life for nursing home and assisted living elders through volunteer opportunities for youth, families, and organizations.

The national tour of Les Miserables will welcome Paige Smallwood in the role of 'Eponine' beginning Sunday, August 5. Paige takes over the role for Emily Bautista who was just announced to star as 'Kim' in the new national tour of Miss Saigon. Parker Dzuba will step into the role of 'Gavroche' beginning August 9 as Jonah Mussolino departs.

In the history of musical theater certain shows have had their place in time while others seem to transcend lifetimes. Parents bring their children to the same musical that their parents brought them to at their age and suddenly a new family tradition has started. The nice thing about traditions is that they grow and evolve, just like the latest show to come to DCPA: The new touring production of Les Miserables. 

For the final production of its 40th Anniversary Season, Stages Repertory Theatre presents the world premiere of Mickey Fisher's Replica, running May 23 - June 10, 2018. Replica is the fourth world premiere Stages has produced this season (in addition to Balls, A Midnight Clear: A Musical Tale of Christmas and Purple Eyes). A television writer and producer as well as a playwright, Fisher is best known as the creator of the television series Extant (CBS, starring Halle Berry), Mars (National Geographic) and the upcoming Reverie (NBC), which premieres May 30.
