Cortland Repertory Theatre, Cortland NY, has announced Youth Auditions for Central New York actors between the ages of 8 – 13 for the summer production of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s “Mary Poppins”. 

Cortland Repertory Theatre, Cortland, NY has announced auditions for non-union performers, ages 19 and up, for their upcoming 50th Anniversary summer season of professional theatre in Central New York.  Auditions will be held at CRT Downtown, 24 Port Watson Street in Cortland, NY from Friday, January 21 – Sunday, January 23.

Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International announced the total revenue collectively raised by theatres across the globe from MTI’s All Together Now! - A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre. 

The star-studded cast of the new series includes Carrie Coon, Denée Benton, Cynthia Nixon, Christine Baranski, Ben Ahlers, Michael Cerveris, Claybourne Elder, Linda Emond, Katie Finneran, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Nathan Lane, Audra McDonald, Debra Monk, Donna Murphy, Kristine Nielsen, Kelli O'Hara, Patrick Page, Taylor Richardson, and Douglas Sills.

Half a Sixpence, recorded during its 2016, West Ed Run will be broadcast on Sky Arts this Christmas. The cast features Charlie Stemp as Arthur Kipps and Devon-Elise Johnson as Ann Pornick, alongside three-time Olivier-nominated actor Ian Bartholomew as Chitterlow and three-time Olivier-nominated actress Emma Williams as Helen Walsingham.

Cameron Mackintosh and Disney's new award-winning London production of MARY POPPINS is now on sale for performances beginning 15 May 2022 at the Sydney Lyric Theatre.

Carrie Coon reprises her performance as Agnes in Bug. She can also be seen in movie theaters in Jason Reitman’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife, named the #1 movie in America. Coon, who has been celebrated for her TV roles in The Leftovers and Fargo, joins a new TV series—Julian Fellowes’ highly anticipated The Gilded Age premiering on HBO in January 2022.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company will welcome audiences back for in-person performances for the first time in 20 months with its acclaimed and extraordinary revival of Bug by Pulitzer Prize and Tony award-winning ensemble member Tracy Letts, in the Downstairs Theater November 11 – December 12, 2021 (opening November 14).

A new era begins. The entire Downton cast is back for #DowntonAbbey: A New Era, with Hugh Dancy, Laura Haddock, Nathalie Baye and Dominic West joining.

Jake Sharp is getting the band back together as it is confirmed that he will lead the cast as Dewey Finn having previously performed the role in the West End. Alex Tomkins will perform in the role at certain performances.
