The Golden Girls Live: The Christmas Episodes—is making a grand move from the intimate setting of the Victoria Theatre to the historic Curran Theatre.

OFC Creations Theatre Center will be presenting The Boy From Oz The Musical, opening their 2024-2025 Broadway in Brighton Series in Rochester, NY. The show running September 12-29 marks the first time the show has been performed in New York state since the 2003 Broadway run starring Hugh Jackman (who won the Tony Award for best actor). 

Together Laura and Linda Benanti, a truly remarkable mother-daughter singing duo, took to the stage and brought an unsuspecting audience into their own unique world filled with love, laughter and of course, song. The sold-out run continues with two more shows tonight and tomorrow.

I grew up with “The Wizard of Oz.” Every year we set aside that one night when the 1939 MGM film with Judy Garland as Dorothy came on our black and white console television. We huddled around the screen with bowls of popcorn and feasted on the fantasy world of Oz.

When you can hear a room audibly smile, then you know you are in the presence of Glenn Rosenblum. He’s charming, clever, witty, playfully spills the Tea, shows off his encyclopedic knowledge regarding all things Broadway, and displays his utmost respect for this genre of entertainment. 

Birdland has announced details on all jazz programming at Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater running July 22nd - August 4th.
