The Public Theater has revealed the complete cast for the New York premiere of MANAHATTA written by Emerging Writers Group alumna Mary Kathryn Nagle and directed by Obie Award winner and Public Theater Director of Public Works Laurie Woolery. 

More than half a century after the Public Theater opened its doors with Hair, Gail Merrifield Papp will speak for the first time about her vivid and fascinating behind-the scenes memoir, Public/Private: My Life with Joe Papp at The Public Theater. The event will be held on Monday, September 18 at 6pm at Joe’s Pub – the Public Theater venue named for Joseph Papp.

The Public Theater has revealed the cast for the Free Shakespeare in the Park production of Public Works’ THE TEMPEST, a new musical adaptation.

After many years of performing in music venues around New York City with such composers as Pasek & Paul, Lyons & Pakchar, Shaiman & Wittman; Raena White will make her long awaited solo debut on August 14, 2023, at 9:30pm at the famed Joe's Pub.

Classes will take place at Sol Theatre in Boca Raton from July 24th through August 4th.  The program is spearheaded by Shakespeare Troupe founder Peter Galman.
