Music Theatre International (MTI) announced that the new, revised version of The Unsinkable Molly Brown is available for licensing.

The Squint Playwriting Award Showcase will present the work of nine emerging playwrights from low-income backgrounds. The showcase features ten minutes of each writer's work from a full-length play they are developing, performed by a professional cast. Get all the details here!

Hartford Stage has announced the cast and creative team of the relevant revival of Alice Childress' watershed play Trouble in Mind. A powerful backstage drama-comedy that's sure to resonate with audiences today as it did in the 1950s, Trouble in Mind will run May 25 through June 18 at Hartford Stage in downtown Hartford, CT.

The production features Helen Hayes Award-winner Ian Merrill Peakes (Folger Theatre's Macbeth and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead) as the tortured composer Salieri, who finds himself living in the shadow of his musical rival Mozart (Samuel Adams).
