Oxygen Media, the destination for high-quality crime programming, has signed an overall development deal with Paul Holes, the hero detective who helped bring the Golden State Killer to justice, it was announced today by Rod Aissa, Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Development, Oxygen. The deal coincides with the one-year anniversary of Oxygen's rebrand to true crime in Summer 2017.

HBO Documentary Films is now in production on a documentary series based on the bestselling true crime book “I'll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman's Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer,” by Michelle McNamara. Academy Award® nominee and Emmy® winner Liz Garbus (HBO's “Nothing Left Unsaid: Gloria Vanderbilt & Anderson Cooper”; HBO's “There's Something Wrong with Aunt Diane”; “What Happened, Miss Simone?”) is directing.

Formed in the wake of Type O Negative and Seventh Void, SILVERTOMB is the latest musical endeavor of guitarist-vocalist Kenny Hickey (Type O Negative, Seventh Void, drummer Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative, Danzig), bassist Hank Hell (Seventh Void, Inhuman) along with New York City hardcore veteran Joseph James, (Agnostic Front, Inhuman) on guitar, and Aaron Joos (Awaken The Shadow, Empyreon) on keyboards, guitar, and backing vocals. Silvertomb combine the musical styles of bands such as Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath with a bone crushing, mind blowing sonic experience. Kenny Hickey describes the sound of Silvertomb as 'heavy, dark and spiritual - like a dark gospel.'

With scorching temperatures in full force, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill at Downtown Summerlin is bringing the heat with not one, but two promotions during the month of July. Bar & Grill will extend its featured BBQ menu, limited to the third weekend of the month. For $19 per person Saturday, July 15 beginning at 1 p.m., the BBQ menu will feature Bar & Grill's signature ¼ rack of baby back ribs, ¼ chicken (legs and thighs), pulled pork, cornbread and chef's choice of sides all plated patio-side on the grill. Carry-out options are also available.

The evening introduced guests to the tropical tasting notes and fruit-forward aromas of Kona Brewing Co.'s seasonal selections expertly matched with Executive Chef Spencer Rudow's four courses.

Last night (Tuesday, April 4, 2017), Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill held the finale event of their Spring 2017 Sommelier Smackdown Series atDowntown Summerlin. The fate of Round 1 victor Jenna Boyer (Lupo by Wolfgang Puck at Mandalay Bay) and Round 2 winner Luis de Santos (Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits of Nevada) was left up to guests last night who collectively crowned finale favorite Luis de Santos, who took home the coveted Sommelier Smackdown championship belt along with the ultimate bragging rights. 

The LINQ Promenade - Caesars Entertainment's open-air shopping, dining and entertainment district at the center of the Las Vegas Strip - celebrates the beginning of 2017 with Chinese New Year and football specials throughout the month of January.
