Tick, Tick...BOOM!, the film adaptation of Jonathan Larson's autobiographical musical of the same name, released a few more posters showcasing Andrew Garfield's character of Jon. The posters were revealed on the Netflix Film Twitter account yesterday ahead of the premiere. Tick, Tick...BOOM! Is set to begin streaming on Netflix next Friday.

Bill Sherman is a powerhouse composer, producer, arranger, and orchestrator, known for his work on stage, on television, and in film. BroadwayWorld spoke with Sherman about his work as the Executive Music Producer of the upcoming film adaptation of tick, tick... BOOM!.

One of the songs from the project, 'Pura Vida', particularly caught my attention. It is about environmental preservation and nature. Pura Vida literally means 'pure life', but in Costa Rica it's like a motto; it's an expression used in almost every conversation. It means that everything is fine, but it can also mean thank you. When I first listened to the song I wondered if Jonathan Larson had ever been to Costa Rica. How did he come up with the phrase?

Sony Masterworks Broadway today announced the release of the Studio Cast Recording of WITNESS UGANDA (AN AMERICAN MUSICAL), an album of music from the powerful musical envisioned by creative duo Matt Gould and Griffin Matthews. Available February 11, 2022, the album features 24 songs from the show, as performed by Matthews and a star-studded cast including multihyphenate superstar Cynthia Erivo, GRAMMY-winning recording artist Ledisi, and stage-and-screen stars Nicolette Robinson, Emma Hunton and Kristolyn Lloyd, among others.

Netflix has released the soundtrack from Lin Manuel Miranda's new film adaption of tick, tick...BOOM! The release features 13 tracks from Jonathan Larson's musical, plus three new bonus tracks sung by Veronica Vasquez, The Mountain Goats, Andrew Garfield, and Alexandra Shipp.

Last night, Netflix hosted the World Premiere of tick, tick...BOOM! with cast members Andrew Garfield, Alexandra Shipp, Robin de Jesús, Joshua Henry, Judith Light and Vanessa Hudgens, and director Lin-Manuel Miranda. tick, tick…BOOM!, is an adaptation of the musical by Jonathan Larson, who revolutionized theater as the creator of Rent.

With two blockbuster musicals, two familiar-and-favorite plays, one world-premier reading of a new musical, and three game-changing contemporary musicals, Fort Salem Theater has something for everyone in their 50th Anniversary Season, just announced for March-November 2022.

The new film adaptation of tick, tick...BOOM! had its world premiere at AFI Fest on November 10, and will have a limited release on November 12, before streaming on Netflix on November 19, 2021.
