The Drifters Girl will play its final performance at the Garrick Theatre in London on Saturday 15 October, before embarking on a UK Tour next year, opening at the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton in September 2023.

David Ian for Crossroads Live UK and Jonathan Church Theatre Productions present the Curve and Sadler's Wells production of the musical 42nd STREET, opening at Curve, Leicester on Wednesday 17 May 2023, where it will play until Saturday 3 June 2023, followed by a season at Sadler's Wells from Wednesday 7 June 2023 to Sunday 2 July 2023 ahead of a UK tour with touring dates to be announced soon.

Artistic Director Mark Ravenhill and the whole team at the King’s Head Theatre have announced details of BOYS! BOYS! BOYS!, the summer season of writer/performer plays running in rep from 2 August to 10 September.

As rain threatens to stop play down the road at Wimbledon's famous tennis club, it seems appropriate to be stopping by the theatre to watch Jonathan Church's stage version of Singin' In The Rain. Re-emerging after the pandemic at Sadler's Wells, the light-hearted and brightly cheerful show is now touring.

The full cast has been announced for the Sadler’s Wells season and UK and Ireland Tour of the Chichester Festival Theatre production of RODGERS & HAMMERSTEIN’S SOUTH PACIFIC.

Often cited as one of the best movie musicals ever made, the 1952 romantic comedy Singin’ In The Rain, starring Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds, has a special place in many people's hearts. It was first adapted for the West End stage in 1983 and since then there have been multiple productions. The current UK tour is a revival of the 2012 London production and is a faithful recreation of the movie, following Betty Comden and Adolph Green's screenplay almost to the letter and including all the songs by Nacio Herb Brown and Arthur Freed that originally featured. If there's a scene, a line or even a visual gag that you love in the film, chances are it's also in the stage adaptation.

Today (Monday 6 June), Society of London Theatre (SOLT) and UK Theatre have announced the next set of speakers appearing at this month's Theatre & Touring Symposium, taking place both at The Brewery, London and online on Monday 27 June 2022, sponsored by Ecclesiastical, Spektrix, Tysers, Theatre Tokens and Yesplan.

Broadway star FELICIA BOSWELL will join London’s new smash hit musical, The Drifters Girl. Felicia will play Faye Treadwell, the legendary manager of The Drifters, who, alongside her husband, fought for three decades to turn Atlantic Records' hottest vocal group into a global phenomenon.

Julian Ovenden will star as 'Emile de Becque' throughout the Sadler's Wells season and UK and Ireland Tour of the critically acclaimed, landmark Chichester Festival Theatre production of RODGERS & HAMMERSTEIN'S SOUTH PACIFIC alongside the previously announced Gina Beck as 'Ensign Nellie Forbush'.

 In the last two years, only a handful of shows have been on the stages of the Mirvish theatres under very restrictive conditions. But this spring holds the most promising opportunity for theatre to truly return to our city, albeit with safety protocols in place.
