Musco Center for the Arts and Pacific Symphony are teaming up to bring a free evening concert to the City of Orange on Saturday, Aug. 3. The performance on Chapman University's Bette and Wylie Aitken Arts Plaza adds a fourth city and venue to the 15-year-old 'Symphony in the Cities' program.

Saturday, August 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the Marcus Performing Arts Center in Milwaukee, the U.S. Coast Guard Band performs in concert as part of their 2019 tour of the Great Lakes region. Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association (OGCMA) presents classical music at the Jersey Shore over Independence Day weekend!

The Mercer County Symphonic Band will present its annual Spring Concert on Wednesday, June 12, at 7:30 p.m. at Mercer County Community College's (MCCC) Kelsey Theatre. The theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. Admission is free.

In the spirit of the Memorial Day holiday, the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association (OGCMA) will kick off its 150th summer season with a FREE concert by the ATLANTIC WIND ENSEMBLE on Saturday, May 25, 2019. 'The President's Own' United States Marine Band in Partnership with the All-Star Orchestra took home an Emmy Award Saturday at the 62nd Annual New York Emmy Awards, which took place at the Marriott Marquis Broadway Ballroom in New York City.

In the early 1930's, The Lambs created 2-reel comedy short films with Columbia Pictures. These shorts were created as a means to raise fund for the Club during the Great Depression. Most of these films have never been seen in almost a century. The films offer a rare historical look at The Lambs, its famous members and activities. The presentation included: Shave it with Music (1932), The Curse of the Broken Heart (1933), Poor Fish (1933) and Hear'em and Weep (1931).

This evening's program, "Rags to Riches" features "Rialto Ripples," "Fascinatin' Rhythms," and "I Got Rhythm" (George Gershwin); "Wall Street Rag" (Scott Joplin); "Invitation to the Dance, Op. 65" (Carol Maria von Weber); "Polka in G Minor" (Bedrich Smetana); "Polka from The Age of Gold" (Dmitri Shostakovich); "Finale of Piano Sonata No. 1" (Alberto Ginastera); "Circus Polka" (Igor Stravinsky); "Evening in Granada" (Claude Debussy); and "Stars and Stripes Forever" (John Philip Sousa).

It's time to strike up the band for the 7th annual concert by the McCallum Theatre Concert Band, with conductor and McCallum Theatre President & CEO Mitch Gershenfeld, on Sunday, March 24, at 3:00pm. Highlights of this year's concert will be a performance of the beloved "Carnival of the Animals" by Saint-Saens featuring pianist Jeffrey Siegel and a new text written and performed by David Gonzalez, and special guest appearances by Gavin MacLeod (narrator) and former TEN Tenor Chad Hilligus (guest vocalist). And, after the concert, there is free ice cream for everyone!

Grand Rapids Symphony's Fifth Grade Concerts, held each February, typically bring 15,000 to 16,000 elementary school students downtown to DeVos Performance Hall for a live concert with a real symphony orchestra playing music by Bach, Beethoven and others.

A unique collaboration: the All-Star Orchestra's Gerard Schwarz conducts the U.S. Marine Band - America's oldest continually performing musical ensemble - founded by an act of Congress in 1798, and dubbed 'The President's Own' by no less than Thomas Jefferson. Three programs feature the most famous concert band masterpieces, including works by Gustav Holst, Percy Grainger, William Schuman, and of course John Philip Sousa.

California Pops Orchestra, the country's only all-request pops orchestra, announces its 30th performance season.
