Neil Crory Tribute Concert Just Announced At Jeanne Lamon Hall

An unprecedented lineup of stellar Canadian singers will take part in the Neil Crory Tribute Concert, an extraordinary celebration of music and the human voice in honour of the legendary CBC Music producer, mentor, impresario, colleague, and friend who died on January 10 at the age of 68. Prominent singers whose careers Crory nurtured, including Phillip Addis, Isabel Bayrakdarian, Isaiah  Bell, Benjamin Butterfield, Tracy Dahl, Nathalie Paulin, Brett Polegato, Jean Stilwell, Krisztina Szabó, Daniel Taylor, Erin Wall, and Monica Whicher, will perform selections from the music most cherished by Crory at 7 PM on Friday, October 11 at Jeanne Lamon Hall, Trinity-St. Paul's Centre. The Neil Crory Tribute Concert includes the participation of CBC Radio-Canada personalities Ben Heppner, Eric Friesen, and Françoise Davoine and will be recorded by CBC Radio Music for future broadcast. Breaking: BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL Announces Broadway Closing Date

BroadwayWorld has learned that Beautiful: The Carole King Musical will end its Broadway run this fall. BEAUTIFUL began performances at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre on Nov. 21, 2013, and officially opened on Jan. 12, 2014. So, by the time the beloved musical ends its run, it will have run on Broadway for nearly six years.

Andrew Kober Joins BEAUTIFUL as 'Don Kirshner'

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Broadway veteran Andrew Kober will take over as 'Don Kirshner' in Broadway's Beautiful starting July 16. Kober steps in for Paul Anthony Stewart, who will return to the show on Tuesday, September 3.

AIN'T TOO PROUD to Launch National Tour From Providence Summer 2020

The first national touring production of Ain't Too Proud - The Life and Times of The Temptations will officially launch at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, Rhode Island, in July 2020, before the tour goes on to play more than 50 cities coast-to-coast for more than 100 touring weeks, including a homecoming to The Temptations' roots in Detroit, and a triumphant return to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC.
