The Lewis & Shirley White Theatre kicks off the 2023-2024 season this September with an ode to jazz.

There are collaborations from artists like Pino Palladino (The Who, John Mayer, Blake Mills), David Koz, and Inara George, and Russell Elevado (D'Angelo, Common, The Roots) who mixed the album. The first half of the album was produced by Ryan Lerman (Scary Pockets, Lizzy McAlpine), while the second half of the album by Chang and Adam Greenholtz.

Billy Joel has added the next show in his record-breaking residency at The World’s Most Famous Arena on Friday, February 9, 2024. Joel’s historic franchise run at The Garden will conclude with his 150th lifetime show at the venue, which is slated for July 2024. The February show will mark Joel’s 99th monthly and 145th lifetime show at The Garden.

The band will once again be joined by The Wolfpack, a string and brass quintet which features Alex Kelly, Brian Switzer, Adam Theis, Mads Tolling and Sheldon Brown, along with Barry Sless on pedal steel performing the expansive catalogue of Grateful Dead, Bobby's solo albums and more.  Boston’s Independent Radio, WXRV/92.5 the River announced that popular dance funk band Ripe will headline the station’s 21st Annual Riverfest Music Festival on Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 12 Noon – 6:00 PM. Ryan Montbleau Band, Air Traffic Controller, and Steve Rondo join the lineup on the Broadway Boardwalk at Salisbury Beach.

Jon Regen released his long-awaited new album Satisfied Mind via Symphonic, along with the album’s fourth single “Wake Me Up” featuring bass legend Pino Palladino. This week, after celebrating the album’s second single “Nobody But You” for seven straight weeks on their A-List playlist, Jazz FM made “Wake Me Up” their “Breakfast Track of the Week.”

Recorded in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Montreal, Quebec in early 2022, Reasons Why represents reflection and growth for Posen in both personal and artistic ways. The title refers to the explanation behind how and why we act, and how choices can further affect oneself and others. Posen will be touring with his band through the fall and winter of 2023.

Rising sibling duo The Ries Brothers (Charlie and Kevin Jordan Ries) have released the official video for their new single “Strange Times.” The visual, shot in New Orleans earlier this summer, provides the perfect gritty backdrop for a track that showcases the duo’s heavier side and lyrically. Legendary blues guitarist Buddy Guy returns to Columbus as part of his “Damn Right Farewell” Tour, marking the last extensive touring of his celebrated career. Guy will be in concert at the Palace Theatre, 34 W. Broad St., on Wednesday, November 15, at 7:30 pm. Tom Hambridge opens.

Andy Grammer will be touring military bases with Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) as part of their summer concert series, Heat Wave. Several of Grammer’s songs have been charted on Billboard’s charts, and the music video for his song “Keep Your Head Up” won an MTV award for Most Innovative Video.

On Wednesday July 19th The Lizzie Rose Music Room welcomes 20 year old Broadway alumni Brandon 'Taz: Niederauer in concert.

With this new offering, band members Chris Vos (guitar, lead vocals, harmonica), Alex Stiff (bass, backing vocals), and Marc Cazorla (drums, backing vocals) are kicking off their next musical era with a single that features guitar cries through a hypnotically hummable bassline and head-nodding beat.

After ten extraordinary years, Joel’s historic franchise run at The Garden will conclude with his 150th lifetime show at the venue, which is slated for July 2024. The December show will mark Joel’s 97th monthly and 143rd lifetime show at The Garden.

The 2023 Victorian State Schools Spectacular (VSSS) returns for its annual extravaganza for two shows on Saturday 9 September 2023 at 1pm and 6:30pm at John Cain Arena.
