Last night, Chicago on Broadway celebrated 25 years of Razzle Dazzle on Broadway with a special celebration.

The Flynn has added two big shows to its star-studded spring 2022 season. First, groundbreaking comic and podcaster Marc Maron brings his new stand-up show to the Flynn on March 12 at 7 pm. Then, ten-time Grammy-winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Bonnie Raitt takes the Main Stage on April 18 at 7:30 pm.

Chicago will celebrate 25 years on Broadway tomorrow Tuesday, November 16th at 6:30PM with a very special performance. Beginning at 5PM on the TKTS Red Steps in Times Square the Brooklyn United Marching Band will march to 49th Street playing Kander & Ebb music. The Ambassador Theatre will be lit in red with a star-studded red carpet. 

Manhattan Theatre Club last night, November 3, presented the world premiere of Morning Sun, written by Tony Award winner Simon Stephens, directed by Drama Desk Award winner Lila Neugebauer, and starring Tony Award winner Blair Brown, four-time Emmy Award winner Edie Falco, and Tony Award nominee Marin Ireland.

A special performance of Chicago will be held on Tuesday, November 16th at 6:30PM with appearances by original cast members and other surprises at the Ambassador Theatre to mark the 25th Anniversary of the longest running American musical in Broadway history.

The Old Globe announced today its full cast and creative team for the live, in-person return of Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The cast will be led by Andrew Polec as The Grinch. Polec returns to The Old Globe after his performance as Berger in the 2021 summer hit production of Hair, The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical.

Tippett will join the previously announced Jaeden Martell and Donald Sutherland in the film, which is being produced by Blumhouse and Ryan Murphy Productions for Netflix. It is expected to be released in 2022.

Casting for the Broadway company of CHICAGO was recently announced, featuring Ana Villafañe as Broadway's next Roxie Hart, Bianca Marroquín in her debut in the role of Velma Kelly, Tony Award-winner Lillias White as Matron 'Mama' Morton, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart and Ryan Lowe as Mary Sunshine.

Tony Award Winner Paulo Szot will return as “Billy Flynn” to Chicago when performances resume on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the Ambassador Theatre.
