Waitress announced today that Joey McIntyre will don the white coat of Dr. Pomatter a day earlier than previously announced; his first performance will be Monday February 4 at 7 PM; he will be in the show through April 7.

Joey McIntyre will take over the role of Dr. Pomatter on February 5 and play through April 7, 2019. He was last seen on Broadway as Fiyero in Wicked. Producer Barry Weissler said, 'We love Joey as a New Kid on the Block and know that he has 'The Right Stuff' to be a brilliant Dr. Pomatter.'

Just last night, the New York Musical Festival (NYMF) honored Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award-winning actress Victoria Clark, NYMF Board Member Jill Jaysen and Tony Award-winning producers Frankel, Viertel, Baruch, Routh Group at its 2018 Gala at the Edison Ballroom.

Radio Galaxy, a new play by Michele Aldin Kushner, will be performed at invitation-only readings on Thursday, September 27 at 11am and 3pm and Friday, September 28 at 2pmat the Westside Theatre (407 W. 43rd Street). Radio Galaxy is directed by Mark Waldrop and produced by Margot Astrachan. 

FOX has renewed interactive music game show BEAT SHAZAM, hosted and executive-produced by Jamie Foxx, for a third season. Foxx will return as host and executive producer for Season Three, along with executive producers Mark Burnett, Jeff Apploff and Barry Poznick. Corinne Foxx, daughter of Jamie Foxx, also will return as deejay.

The Wanderer, the new musical based on the life of Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Dion DiMucci, has found the cast for its workshop. Mike Wartella will play Dion himself, while Christy Altomare will play Dion's wife, Susan. Joey McIntyre of New Kids on the Block will play Johnny. The full cast is listed below!

Last night, August 2, the cast and creative team of Pretty Woman the Musical paid tribute to the film's director, the late, great Garry Marshall. Speeches were given by the musical's director Jerry Mitchell, producer Paula Wagner, and Marshall's family, Kathleen Marshall, Scott Marshall, and Barbara Marshall. Also in attendance for the evening was Julia Roberts, the film's original star! Sexy and poignant, Plan-B Entertainment's production of Cabaret remains as relevant as it did when the show premiered in 1966. In its 12 editions, Broadway Backwards has raised more than $3.4 million for Broadway Cares and The Center.

Tickets have sold out to next month's Broadway Backwards, Broadway's annual gender-swapped celebration of love and the LGBT community, as more stars of stage and screen join the already distinguished lineup of performers.

Singer and actor Joey McIntyre will welcome Anchorage audiences to the infamous Kit Kat Klub as he takes the stage in the iconic role of the Emcee during the Anchorage run of Cabaret, April 24 through 29 in the Atwood Concert Hall, presented by the Anchorage Concert Association.
