Director/choreographer Dionysia Williams describes the 90-minute musical as a “perfect love letter to the late 1990s/early 2000 boy bands”

Members from rom *NSYNC, New Edition, NKOTB, Boyz II Men, 98 Degrees and O-Town will gather for a night of nostalgic hits. *NSYNC’s Joey Fatone and Boyz II Men’s Wanya Morris are also set to debut a new holiday song.

The Wanderer, the new Broadway-bound musical based on the life and music of Rock & Roll Hall-of-Famer Dion DiMucci, announced today that Michael Wartella (Wicked) will star as Dion alongside Christy Altomare (Anastasia) as Dion’s wife Susan and Joey McIntyre (New Kids on the Block; Waitress) as Dion’s right hand man, Johnny, in its world premiere at Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey.

BroadwayWorld has learned details of Paper Mill's upcoming 2021-2022 season. Productions set include Jason Robert Brown's SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD, a production titled 'A Jolly Holiday' in partnership with Disney on Broadway, CLUE - the 1997 off-Broadway Peter DePietro musical based on the popular Hasbro board game, the long awaited THE WANDERER based on the life and music of Dion, and the Broadway smash-hit SISTER ACT.
