LANCE HORNE - the Emmy Award winning composer, musician, vocalist and producer - will make his Birdland debut with a special concert on Monday, March 31 at 7:00 PM. Lea DeLaria, Joey Arias, Stephen Wallem and Michael Rose have joined the evening as special guests, in addition to the previously-announced Alan Cumming, Alice Ripley and Rachel Dratch. They will perform songs from his acclaimed CD First Things Last in addition to a special preview of The Night Before My Wedding, Horne's upcoming collaboration with Neil Gaiman. Lance will also headline a special concert at Rockwood LA on April 15 with guest stars to be announced and an additional event this spring in San Francisco. He has contributed a movement to Tyler's Suite, a choral song-cycle dedicated to Tyler Clementi, the 18-year-old Rutgers University student that took his life three years ago. The piece, which also includes contributions from Stephen Schwartz, Ann Hampton Callaway and Craig Carnelia, will premiere from the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus on March 25-26. Theatrical singer, songwriter, actor, writer, model, dancer and DJ, Kenyon Phillips announced today that writer/blogger Michael Musto, writer/performer David Cale, and actor/singer and drag performer Flotilla DeBarge (HBO's Angels in America) will join the cast of the world premiere performance of The Life + Death of Kenyon Phillips. Musto will play the role of Kenyon's therapist, Cale a reporter, and Flotilla will portray Kenyon's ex-girlfriend, Gina. The three join previously announced Daphne Rubin-Vega (Rent, Anna in the Tropics).

In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the world-renowned Newport Jazz Festival (August 1-3, 2014), clarinetist/saxophonist Anat Cohen, vocalist/pianist Karrin Allyson, bassists Larry Grenadier and Ben Allison, pianist Peter Martin, guitarist Mark Whitfield, trumpeter Randy Brecker, and drummer Clarence Penn embark on the 17-city 'Newport Jazz Festival: Now 60' Tour, February 8 - March 30, 2014, with more dates during June, July and August in North America and Europe.

The show, written and performed by MEREDITH DIMENNA under the musical direction of Jason BinnICK will be at the Cutting Room, tonight, November 19th, 2013 at 8:00pm EST.

Last evening, Isabel and Ruben Toledo hosted a group of friends for cocktails at their Atelier before taking them to the theater in a caravan of cars to see the show and Isabel's costumes on stage. Hotel Nikko San Francisco has announced that during the month of October, they will help paint San Francisco pink as they donate all profits from Kanpai Lounge to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation. Located in the lobby of Hotel Nikko (222 Mason Street, San Francisco) Kanpai Lounge will offer specialty pink cocktails - in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month - in addition to an already extensive cocktail selection, light cuisine, and a full bar. In order to bring further awareness to the cause, Nikko will illuminate the hotel's exterior with pink lights outside, as well as sprinkle pink accents throughout the interior and staff uniforms.

Mikhail Baryshnikov serves as the Honorary Chairman for Uptown Downtown, a special one-night-only extravaganza to benefit the Abrons Arts Center on October 14. Bringing together the brightest lights of New York City's uptown and downtown performance scenes, the evening will feature Kyle Abraham, Joey Arias, Jack Ferver + James Whiteside, Ellen Greene, Robert La Fosse, Bebe Neuwirth, Philippe Petit, and other special guests.
