Actor Bruce Sabath (Company, Cagney,  Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish) celebrated the inauguration of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris by producing an uplifting music video of the song 'Beautiful City' from the Stephen Schwartz musical Godspell.  The video features Sabath in locations around New York. Also featured are photographs of New York City, submitted by Sabath's colleagues and fans, who responded to a mention of the project on social media.

On the eve of the highly-anticipated Presidential Inauguration of President-Elect Joseph R. Biden and Madam Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris, the cast of the critically-acclaimed off-Broadway hit, Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish, released a rendition of “God Bless America” in Yiddish, featuring Academy and Tony Award winner Joel Grey and Steven Skybell.

Since Jim Henson first burst onto the scene over six decades ago, Muppets have taken center stage in pop culture, appearing on film, television, and beyond. From the kid-centric Sesame Street to the universally loved The Muppets Show, the furry (and felty) creatures have often used music to entertain the masses, and many times, called upon the stars of Broadway to help!

On January 31, 2021, the Workers Circle will present a Yiddish Schmooze featuring Zalmen Mlotek, the Artistic Director at the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene, which presented the award-winning Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish and whose parents were integral members of the Workers Circle and passionate proponents of Yiddish culture.
