Tomorrow, May 15, GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS will release Rags - The Musical: Original London Cast Recording in digital and streaming formats. A physical CD will be available later this year. The new album - based on the revised London production that played to sold out houses earlier this year - is the first recording of this new version of the ravishing score. Customers who pre-order the digital album will immediately receive a download of the first single, 'Children of the Wind.'
There will be a cast recording of their production of RAGS The Musical which is currently playing to sold out houses at Park Theatre, London, running until tomorrow, Saturday 8 February. This will be the first recording of the show since Sony's 1991 album with the Broadway cast.
Carolyn Maitland, Dave Willetts and Sam Attwater will star as Rebecca, Avram and Bronfman respectively in RAGS The Musical at Park Theatre, London. The show will run for a limited season from 9 January to 8 February 2020, with a press night on 14 January. RAGS The Musical has a book by Joseph Stein (Fiddler on the Roof), revised book by David Thompson, lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked) and music by Charles Strouse (Annie).

Brought up in a remote, poverty-stricken town in Yorkshire, without money or opportunity, they fought ill health, unrequited love and family feuds to write some of the most celebrated literature including Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights.

The production stars Caroline O'Connor as Anna and Gemma Sutton as Angel, and features Stewart Clarke, Ross Dawes, Michael Lin, Elander Moore, Ben Redfern and Jason Winter as Dino, Lino, Lucky, Benny, Lenny and Tony respectively.
