Playhouse on Park Announces 2020-2021 Season

Patrons and friends from the Playhouse on Park community tuned in for Playhouse's Season 12 Big Reveal via Zoom; the season was announced by Executive Director Tracy Flater and Co-Artistic Directors Sean Harris and Darlene Zoller.

Performances resumed Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. for a limited engagement through Sunday afternoon, February 9, 2020 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

The York Theatre Company, as part of its acclaimed Developmental Reading Series, will present a staged reading of the new musical Monet, with music and lyrics by Carmel Owen (Asylum: The Strange Case of Mary Lincoln), and book by Joan Ross Sorkin (In the Theatre). Monet will play two performances only on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (619 Lexington Avenue, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

The York Theatre Company as part of its acclaimed Developmental Reading Series will present a staged reading of the new musical In the Theatre with book by Joan Ross Sorkin (The Black Swan) and music and lyrics by Steven Fisher (The Little Dancer). In the Theatre will play two performances only on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's.

Directed by Max Friedman, with choreography by Andrew Palermo, and music direction/arrangements by Adam Podd, the cast features Sam Bolen, Jeremy Cohen, and Jon J. Peterson. Performances began Tuesday, October 2, 2018 for a limited engagement through Sunday afternoon, November 4, 2018 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).
