STRAWBERRY MILK is a new monthly stand-up comedy show on a mission to make a world where white men are not the majority in comedy.

Fresh off of his two-month college comedy tour, Pete returns to New York City with newfound confidence in his comedic abilities. While growing more assured, he continues to struggle over what he really wants out of comedy and how to find a happy balance between his old, faith-based self and the new, more ambitious comic he's becoming.

Los Angeles LGBT Center's Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center and StandOut Productions have announced the world premiere screening and dvd release party for the comedy film DragTastic NYC, produced and directed by Andrea Meyerson. On Saturday, January 13 at 8pm, this special one-night-only event will include the film in its entirety followed by a Q & A with cast members Pandora Boxx, Kelly Mantle, and director Meyerson. Additionally, there will be a release party for the new dvd along with live performances by two of the artists featured in the film, Pandora Boxx and Kelly Mantle.

The seventh annual MOONTOWER COMEDY FESTIVAL, along with producers the Paramount Theatre and sponsors Cap City Comedy Club, has announced additional comics to the 2018 lineup, including multiple headlining acts performing at Stateside at the Paramount as well as a variety of comedians playing shows at Moontower satellite venues throughout Austin. Further additions to the lineup will be announced in the months ahead, including the Moontower Podcast Series.

Jessica Kirson is a powerhouse on stage.  Her act is a performance unlike any comedian you've ever seen.  An 18-year veteran of comedy, Jessica was awarded 'Best Female Comic' by the MAC association in New York City and recently accepted the Nightlife Award for 'Best Stand-up Comedian' in NYC.  Jessica's comedic character videos have a collective 30 million views on her YouTube Channel, The Jessy K Show.  Her podcast, Fat Pig, tackles food obsession and honesty in all things gluttony.  Featured guests include actress Edie Falco, celebrity chef Alex Guarnaschelli and even Jessica's psychiatrist mother.

The Just For Laughs Festival, presented by Videotron in association with Loto-Quebec, successfully upped the ante on hilarity with more artists and TV tapings than ever before, popping the cork over an astounding 42 sold-out shows. The security was tight in the Monastery last night as politicians, tennis legends, celebrities and Friars gathered in the Frank Sinatra Dining Room to pay tribute to David Dinkins on his 90th birthday.   The security protection wasn't good enough however to stop one of the greatest comedians on the planet, Dean Emeritus Freddie Roman (MC) to have some fun with the former Mayor.  As a matter of fact Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who made a special trip down from Albany to be at the Friars got some laughs himself during his heartfelt tribute to Mr. Dinkins.  There was much love, laughter, joy, and a few tears in the club during the evening, as there always is in the Friars Club.  I couldn't help thinking as I watched all the Democrats and  Republicans in the room enjoying each others camaraderie, how great it would be if all our representatives in Washington would become Friars, meet in The Monastery, feel the love, and solve the nations problems.

Whitney Cummings, Ken Jeong, Anthony Jeselnik, John Mayer, T.J. MISSED CONNECTIONS NYC has announced the return engagement of the acclaimed MISSED CONNECTIONS: An Exploration into the Online Postings of Desperate Romantics, created by Ricky Dunlop. MISSED CONNECTIONS will play at 9:00pm for a six-week limited engagement at The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street). Performances begin tonight, September 6.
