When theaters shut down during COVID, the effects of social isolation have been acutely felt by senior citizens and those who are housebound. In response, 24/6: A Jewish Theater Company has commissioned a diverse group of 16 playwrights to write 10 minute plays to be performed over the telephone one-on-one by individual volunteers to individual senior citizens and others who are housebound and don't have easy access to the internet.

THE TALMUD will play a three-week limited engagement at THE DOXSEE @ Target Margin Theater (232 52nd Street, Sunset Park, Brooklyn). Performances begin Thursday, September 12 and continue through Saturday, September 28. Opening Night is Saturday, September 14 (8 p.m.).  Press performances are Thursday, September 12; Friday, September 13, and Saturday, September 14 (and any subsequent performance).  $20-$25 tickets will be available at http://www.targetmargin.org/talmud/

As the centerpiece of the Company's 25th anniversary season, Target Margin Theater and Abrons Arts Center will present a rare revival of Eugene O'Neill's great trilogy, Mourning Becomes Electra, directed by Herskovits, and running April 26-May 20. Part Greek tragedy, part family play, part history play, Mourning Becomes Electra (O'Neill's 1931 adaptation of Aeschylus 'The Oresteia') mashes myth, Freudian psychology and melodrama into an epic six hour production.
