Olney Theatre Center has revealed its 2026-27 season featuring a production of La Cage aux Folles directed by Artistic Director Jason Loewith, Les Misérables, directed by Stephen Brackett and more.

Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre announced its 65th anniversary season, featuring Broadway alumni in productions of ANNIE, 1776, INTO THE WOODS, STEEL MAGNOLIAS, and more at its Missouri stage.

Billy Porter will soon return to the stage as Albin in the upcoming Encores! production of La Cage aux Folles, starring opposite Wayne Brady as Georges. Watch Porter praise the talents of his co-star during a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Bevelations.

The complete cast has been revealed for Encores! La Cage Aux Folles. Tony Award winner Tonya Pinkins joins the cast as Jacqueline, along with Peter Francis James as Edouard, and Rachel Webb as Anne.

On Saturday, April 11, 2026, I had the pleasure of seeing yet another excellent production at Center Stage Theatre in Shelton, CT, JERRY’S GIRLS, a show that celebrates the music of Jerry Herman whose music was featured in Hello Dolly!, Mame,  and other musicals. Starring the phenomenal first-rate vocals of stars Sandra Fernandes, Makenzie Massey, and Emerson Raymond, accompanied by talented pianist Jane Best, this show is highly entertaining! The star power of these performers succeeds in pulling off this challenging production, under the brilliant combination of the direction of Liz Muller, associate direction of Jacob Marcus, and choreography of Brandy and Michael Bailey. I am not exaggerating when I say that if Sandra, Makenzie, and Emerson were to audition for American Idol next year, they would likely be the top three contestants. Yes, they are that good!

Celebrating 65 years of artistic excellence and community engagement, newly appointed Artistic Director Robyne Parrish and the team at Arrow Rock Lyceum announced the theater's 65th anniversary season.

American Classics will present ALL IN ONE: WORDS AND MUSIC, a concert highlighting songwriters who composed both lyrics and music, in performances in Cambridge and Bedford, Massachusetts.
