Award-winning playwright Dominique Morisseau's riveting and emotionally powerful Pipeline is next up on the production calendar at Everyman Theatre.

Signature Theatre has announced the cast for At the Full Yum by Rahima R. Rice, the first of four readings in its 2020/21 SigWorks: Monday Night New Play Reading Series. The reading will be directed by Jared Shamberger and stars Valeka Jessica, Gary-Kayi Fletcher, Avery Michael Johnson and Jefferson A. Russell.

The first event born out of the new partnership between Everyman Theatre and the Baltimore City Office of Equity and Civil Rights (BCOECR) -- The House That Holds Us, is slated for August 28 at 7 pm, and will be the culminating event of the week-long Fair Housing Film Festival.

Milwaukee Repertory Theater announces the complete cast and creative teams for the 2018/19 Season final Spring shows including Ring of Fire, Every Brilliant Thing, and Two Trains Running. 

Timothy Douglas' production of Wilson's Gem of the Ocean is as rich an experience as you could possibly ask for; set at the turn of the twentieth century, it offers a lesson in the trials of Pittsburgh's African-American community at a pivotal time in the Hill district's history. More importantly, it is an examination of a violent, exploitative past from which we, as a nation, have yet to emerge.

Round House Theatre announces casting for the five mainstage shows that will comprise its 41st season. "Our 2018-2019 Season launches our exciting Resident Artist program, and once again confirms our longstanding value to prioritize the use of local artists, with more than 90% of our artists hailing from the DC area," says Artistic Director Ryan Rilette. Aubergine, by American playwright and television writer of Korean descent, Julia Cho, is a didactic play, heavy on pathos, but not without humor, that finds its origins in Cho's own life, specifically, the death of her father. Similarly in this play, protagonist Ray, played by Tony Nam, cares for his dying father (Glenn Kubota) at home, with the help of nurse Lucien (Jefferson A. Russell), girlfriend Cornelia (Eunice Bae) and his Uncle (Song Kim).

Everyman's Artistic Director Vincent M. Lancisi directs this so-production with the Olney Theatre Cednter.
