The New Group announces today that two-time Tony Award winner Matthew Broderick joins Wallace Shawn's Evening at the Talk House, with, as previously announced, Jill Eikenberry, John Epperson, Larry Pine, Wallace Shawn, Claudia Shear, Annapurna Sriram and Michael Tucker, representing full casting for this U.S. premiere directed by Scott Elliott. 

Roundabout Theatre Company welcomes Norm Lewis as 'Harrison Howell,' completing the all-star cast of Kelli O'Hara (Lilli Vanessi), Will Chase (Fred Graham), Robert Fairchild (Bill), Helene Yorke (Lois), Chuck Cooper (Harry Trevor/Baptista), Richard Kind (Gangster) and John Pankow (Gangster) in a one-night only Benefit Concert Reading of Kiss Me, Kate, with music and lyrics by Cole Porter and book by Sam and Bella Spewack, music direction by Patrick Vaccariello and choreography by Warren Carlyle.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO) has just announced Robert Fairchild (Bill), Helene Yorke (Lois), Chuck Cooper (Harry Trevor/Baptista), Richard Kind (Gangster) and John Pankow (Gangster) will join Kelli O'Hara (Lilli Vanessi) and Will Chase (Fred Graham) in a one-night only Benefit Concert Reading of Kiss Me, Kate with music and lyrics by Cole Porter and book by Sam and Bella Spewack, music direction by Patrick Vaccariello and choreography by Warren Carlyle. Roundabout's Associate Artistic Director, Scott Ellis, will direct this one-night only special event.

Four theater artists will be honored by the Henry Hewes Design Awards Committee during the presentation of its 2016 Awards in a luncheon ceremony to be held November 7, 2016.

It's that time of year, and I can't help but wonder if your CD collection and iPod are Tonys ready. It's just a handful of hours until the 70th annual Tony Awards, and New York City and theatre fans across the world are excitedly buzzing about this year's ceremonies which will be broadcast live on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 8/7c on CBS. The 2016 Tony Awards celebrated 70 years of honoring the best of Broadway last night at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. In addition to the class of 2016 Tony Nominees, the star-studded evening featured appearances by Cate Blanchett, Claire Danes, Common, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Glenn Close, Josh Groban, Jake Gyllenhaal, Neil Patrick Harris, Sean Hayes, James Earl Jones, Daniel Dae Kim, Carole King, Diane Lane, Nathan Lane, Angela Lansbury, Lucy Liu, Bebe Neuwirth, Saoirse Ronan, Keri Russell, Meg Ryan, Barbra Streisand, Oprah Winfrey and many more. As predicted, HAMILTON was the big winner of the night, taking home a whopping eleven awards, including the coveted Best Musical.
