Countless Broadway helpers have made that goal a reality, and we're shining a much-deserved spotlight on some of them. Below, watch as Javier chats with Ricky Lurie - a costume Designer who sourced supplies and assisted with early logistics.

When New York City was in need, Broadway stepped in to help. Broadway Green Alliance, Open Jar Studios and Broadway veteran Javier Muñoz came together in March to form Broadway Relief Project- a coalition of many skilled artists in the Broadway community who are partnering with NYC/EDC (Economic Development Corporation) to assist the medical community to build surgical gowns and other needed materials.

GLAAD, the world's largest LGBTQ media advocacy organization, will host 'Together in Pride: You are Not Alone,' a livestream event on Sunday, April 26 at 8pm ET on GLAAD's YouTube channel and Facebook Live.

Javier Muñoz has announced via Twitter that he and Open Jar Studios have collaborated on a project to assist the medical community in building face shields, gowns and other needed materials to provide aid during the current health crisis. 

Internalized grief is explored in the new production by Stephen Lloyd Helper, A Sign of the Times. The one-man play stares Hamilton actor Javier Muñoz as a nameless traffic controller who is nothing as he seems.

Greg Brostrom will star in the lead role of Stephen Lloyd Helper's A Sign of the Times for five performances (March 2, 3, 5, 6, and 9). Brostrom will be taking over the role from Javier Muñoz, who will be on location shooting a film.

Janet Dacal is releasing her debut solo album My Standards in digital and streaming formats tomorrow, February 7. It will be released on CD on Friday, February 14. A collection of Dacal's favorite standards with a Cuban-American flair, the album features special guests vocalists Olivia C. Dacal and Javier Muñoz. A veteran of Broadway's In the Heights and Wonderland, Dacal is currently starring in the national tour of the Tony Award-winning 'Best Musical' The Band's Visit. My Standards was produced by Alberto Salas and Janet Dacal, with Carlos Josè Alvarez serving as principle arranger. Alberto Salas is the Music Director for the 13 piece band.

Javier Muñoz will star in the North American Premiere of Stephen Lloyd Helper's A Sign of the Times at Theater 511 (511 West 54th Street) beginning performances on February 17 in advance of its opening night on February 27 through April 4, 2020. This year's concert line-up includes Tony nominee Jenn Colella (Come From Away), Tony Award-winner Santino Fontana (Tootsie), Ta'Nika Gibson (Ain't Too Proud), Emmy Award-winner Judy Gold ('Kill Me Now' podcast), Emmy and Tony Award-winner Andrea Martin (Pippin), Emmy and Tony Award-winner Laurie Metcalf ('The Conners'), Brian Stokes Mitchell (Kiss Me Kate), Javier Muñoz (Hamilton), Tony Award-winner Kelli O'Hara (The King & I), and more to be announced.

On Sunday December 1st, Abrons Arts Center will host The Red Ribbon Revue, a World AIDS Day concert featuring HIV-positive performers celebrating the work of artists with HIV/AIDS, benefitting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDs and mothers2mothers. Javier Muñoz (Hamilton, In the Heights) joins a line-up of HIV+ performers from Broadway to opera to pay tribute to songwriters Howard Ashman, Peter Allen, Michael Friedman, Jerry Herman and more. The concert will raise awareness and funds to help combat the persistent stigma around HIV that keeps so many from disclosing their status and getting the care they need to live long healthy lives.

Mandy Gonzalez will 'take a break' from playing Angelica Schuyler in Hamilton on Broadway for a rare Southern-California appearance at the Younes and Soraya Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts (The Soraya) on Saturday, October 26 at 8pm.  Gonzalez will perform hits from Wicked, Hamilton, and more.

Adam Langdon has replaced Uly Schlesinger as a?oeAtlasa?? in The New Englanders at MTC. The cast of The New Englanders features Teagle F. Bougere (Socrates, A Raisin In the Sun), Patrick Breen (The Normal Heart, Next Fall), Crystal Finn (Kingdom Come), Adam Langdon (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time), Javier Muñoz (Hamilton, In the Heights), and Kara Young (Hair Wolf).

Encores! Off-Center will present Nina Faso and Stephen Schwartz's Working: A Musical, June 26-29. The production stars Andrea Burns, Mateo Ferro, David Garrison, Helen Hunt, Christopher Jackson, Javier Muñoz, and Tracie Thoms.

The Statue of Liberty Museum on Liberty Island opened to the public today following a dedication ceremony presented by The Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation, Inc. The ceremony featured performances by Tony Award Nominee Laura Osnes, Tony Award Nominee Lilli Cooper and Javier Muñoz. They paid tribute to Irving Berlin by performing some of his iconic songs including 'God Bless America,' 'Give Me Your Tired, Your Poor,''Shaking the Blues Away,' and 'Blue Skies' to celebrate the opening of this new museum.
