From the melodies of Rodgers and Hammerstein to the lyrics of Jason Robert Brown, nothing says romance like a Broadway ballad, and it's that special time of year to celebrate the best of them. This is BroadwayWorld's 2019 Valentine's Day Special... and it's bigger than ever!

The Bridges of Madison County - the heartfelt, intimate musical by Jason Robert Brown (Parade, Honeymoon in Vegas, The Last Five Years) and Marsha Norman (The Color Purple) based on Robert James Waller's tender story of love, regrets and second chances - will open to the press on Monday, March 11. Artistic Director Fred Anzevino will be stage director and Jeremy Ramey music director.  The musical, which won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Score, will be the second show of Theo Ubique's first season in its new home at 721 Howard Street in Evanston. The Bridges of Madison County will preview from March 8-10 and play Thursdays through Sundays through April 21, 2019.

KYLE RIABKO will return to Joe's Pub at The Public on Saturday, April 13 at 7:00 PM in a solo concert bringing his groundbreaking interpretations of both Burt Bacharach and Richard Rodgers, together for the first time with selections from the Broadway shows he starred in - Spring Awakening andHair - in addition to his original music.

Having made her Broadway debut in 2017 as Ti Moune in ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, the audience cheered Hailey Kilgore as she ran onstage at Feinstein's/54 Below in a green, flowing dress for her opening number, 'The Wizard and I,' announcing in song this is what she's 'waited for since birth!' Making her solo debut on Jan. 30, her enthusiasm was infectious, her voice shimmered through each sustained note, and even those who knew her seemed surprised at the volume and strength that carried each song.

The Town Hall Presents the internationally acclaimed Broadway @ concert series, hosted and music directed by SiriusXM Radio star Seth Rudetsky and produced by Mark Cortale, at The Town Hall (123 W. 43rd Street) on Monday, March 11 at 8pm with Tony Award-nominee Jeremy Jordan.  

La MaMa in association with Out of the Box Theatrics presents the World Premiere of DYING IN BOULDER (or the perfect place to die if you have good karma) by Linda Faigao-Hall, directed by Ian Morgan (Associate Artistic Director of The New Group). Previews begin February 28, 2019 at The Downstairs at La MaMa with opening night slated for March 3.

Derek Klena joins DUETS with The Write Teacher(s) Volume 7 at Feinstein's/54 Below on April 12th at 9:30pm.

On Thursday, March 21st and Friday, March 22nd, 2019 at 7:30pm, Toronto Musical Concerts (TMC) presents a professional staged reading of Jason Robert Brown's PARADE In Concert at the Al Green Theatre (Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre - 750 Spadina Ave).

West End favourite Jenna Russell made a surprisingly belated solo concert debut at Leicester Square Theatre, but, judging by this entirely winning performance, she's a natural. Seth Rudetsky, unparalleled master of the format, was on hand to accompany and guide her through a superlative set-list, as well as draw out anecdotes both deliciously foul-mouthed and funny, and unexpectedly moving.

Second Stage Theater has announced it will present a special concert series, MUSICAL MONDAYS, in celebration of the acclaimed company's 40th anniversary.

Tea For Two, a programme of intimate and frank conversations will be part of MT Fest UK at The Other Palace. ng their acclaimed run last September, West Virginia Public Theatre (WVPT) returns to Monongalia Arts Center over Valentine's Day Weekend for a strictly limited three-show revival. The Last Five Years, which won both 'Best Musical' and 'Best Actor in a Musical' in the 2018 BroadwayWorld Regional Awards, is an intimate, funny, and devastatingly honest examination of life and love. The production opens on Thursday, February 14 at 8pm, with additional shows on February 15 at 8pm and February 17 at 2pm. There is no performance on Saturday the 16th. All performances will take place in the Tanner Theatre at Monongalia Arts Center (MAC).

Amid religious intolerance, political injustice and racial tension, the stirring Tony Award-winning Parade explores the endurance of love and hope against all the odds.
