Feinstein's at Vitello's newest monthly series debuts Monday 9.9.19 with the music of Gregory Nabours; including a world premiere collaboration with Marc Cherry, creator of the Emmy Award winning DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES! Feinstein's at Vitello's has announced a new monthly series featuring a diverse array of new musicals in concert in the heart of Studio City. Each month will showcase the work of one writer or writing team, or present a new musical in concert!

On Monday, September 9th, 2019 Feinstein's at Vitello's will kick off a brand new concert series: Feinstein's Presents mostly NEW musicals, with LA's own award-winning Gregory Nabours! Mostly NEW musicals will showcase the most exciting new musical theatre writers and composers from across the country in the heart of Studio City, Feinstein's at Vitello's! Co-produced and curated by amy francis schott, producer of the long-running cabaret series (mostly)musicals, each event will present a new musical in concert, or explore the work of one writer or writing team!

Are you ready for a DOGGONE good time? (mostly)musicals returns on 8.12.19 at 7:30pm, for a hot SUMMER night of UNLEASHED entertainment: DOG DAYS of Summer! There's alpha dog Gregory Nabours at the piano, the open mic afterparty hosted by the FETCHING Emily Clark, and a PACK of talented performers just in time for the dog days of summer!

The wit of Kate Pazakis (executive producer of the UNAUTHORIZED MUSICAL PARODY OF... series) - writes some of the sharpest and laugh-inducing dialogue while name-dropping and parodying the 1999 cult classic, Heath Ledger/Julia Stiles-starrer 10 Things I Hate About You. (No need to have already seen the film. You'll enjoy the wall-to-wall talent acting out the UMPO stand-alone storyline.)

Pasadena Playhouse, the State Theater of California, has transformed the historic theater with an all new version of Ragtime: The Musical as it returns to Los Angeles more than two decades after its premiere at the Shubert Theatre.  With 21 actors and a 16-piece orchestra, this is one of the most ambitious productions in the Playhouse's recent history.

Cabaret patroness Madame Mathieu has selected Alyssa Fox (Frozen, Wicked) and Joseph Medeiros (Three Tall Women, West Side Story) as guests of honor at the January edition of the Bistro Awards Critics' Pick Madame's Soiree. This will be the kickoff of the show's fourth season at The Duplex. The Broadway duo will be joined on the program by a distinguished group of emerging artists from a variety of disciplines.

In 2010, the musical comedy Band Geeks premiered at Goodspeed, and now, almost nine years later, its score is finally available for listening. The EP of Band Geeks features seven of Mark Allen, Gaby Alter, and Tommy Newman's catchy songs. While it's very clearly a product of its time - that late 2000s/early-Glee era pop sound - every song is funny and earnest with charm to spare.

Music director Gregory Nabours led a jingling (ring-ting-tingling too!) evening, featuring Alli Miller (CHERRY POPPINS), Amy Engelhardt (BASTARD JONES), Clent Bowers (B'way: CATS, BIG), Emily Clark (Stealing Focus), Gabriel Gonzalez (La Verdad), Iara Nemirovsky (National tour: SCHOOL OF ROCK), Jeffrey Polk (B'way: FIVE GUYS NAMED MOE), Kelley Dorney (IN A BOOTH AT CHASEN'S), Kristina Miller (JERSEY BOYS), Jonny Lee Jr. and Justin Anthony Long (CITY OF DREAMS), Juan Lozano (2 Cents Theatre Company), Keith and Laura Nicole Harrison (EMOJILAND), Natalia Vivino (CHILDREN OF EDEN at 5-Star Theatricals), and Shawn Ryan ('America's Got Talent'). The evening also showcased a guest performance from the cast of the critically acclaimed Greenway Court production of THE COLOR PURPLE, and, as always, the open mic afterparty!
