Gabrielle Stravelli -- the celebrated pop/jazz vocalist and songwriter called an "outstanding singer" by The Wall Street Journal and "hotter than the equator" by The Village Voice -- will fill in for jazz icon Annie Ross for her longstanding Tuesday night residency for two concerts on January 19 and January 26 at 9:30 PM.

THE MEETING* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to Joe's Pub at The Public to launch the Winter/Spring 2016 season on Sunday, January 24 at 9:30 PM. This season will include tributes to Eartha Kitt (January 24 at 9:30 PM), the musical Cabaret (February 21 at 9:30 PM), Elton John (March 20 at 9:30 PM), Barbra Streisand (April 17 at 9:30 PM) and George Michael (May 22 at 7:00 PM). Special guests for each show will be announced.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present stage and screen star Erich Bergen ('Madam Secretary,' 'Jersey Boys'), who joined forces with American jazz pianist Angelo Di Loreto in concert on Sunday and Monday, December 27 and 28. Bergen, Di Loreto and bassist Ethan O'Reilly performed an intimate evening of songs from the Great American Songbook, as well as some classics of 20th Century pop music. With just two weeks remaining in the voting for the 2015 BroadwayWorld New York Cabaret Awards, three performers are leading in two different categories, while two Broadway stars--Alan Cumming and Betty Buckley-- are winning the vote in their respective "celebrity categories.' Voting for the awards ends on New Year's Eve, December 31.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater for two shows -- Sunday, December 20 at 9:30 PM and Monday, December 21 at 7:00 PM -- for the Seventh Annual Holiday Spectacular. Sunday's 9:30 PM show will feature Cole Escola, Molly Pope, Aaron Jackson, Liam Forde and Dane Terry. The Monday 7:00 PM show will feature Shaina Taub, Aaron Weinstein, Mark Nadler, Molly Pope, Dane Terry, and Rob Maitner.  Tracy Stark serves as the show's Music Director.

On Thanksgiving Day, BroadwayWorld announced the nominees in 14 categories for the 2015 BWW New York Cabaret Awards. BroadwayWorld's cabaret editors and reviewers congratulate all the deserving nominees and everyone who performs in the great art of cabaret in New York. But today, as you munch on the leftovers from last night's dinner, it's time to actually vote for that one performer who you think is the absolute best in each category. Voting ends on December 31 and after a review of the ballots, winners will be announced officially early the week of January 4, 2016. (Note: There will not be a BWW Awards Show this year.)
