Aspen's acclaimed Theatre Masters will present its 2014 National MFA Playwrights Festival and Aspiring Playwrights Competition -- an exciting, fast-paced evening of 10-minute plays by the next generation of American playwrights - for three nights beginning February 2nd (7:30PM) at Aspen High School Black Box Theater (235 County Road 13A, Aspen, CO, 81611).

On Monday, December 9, 2013, The Broadway Dreams Foundation held its third annual holiday gala, "Night of Dreams," at Celsius, a restaurant, bar and event space within the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park. At this one of a kind urban winter wonderland in of the heart of midtown Manhattan, Broadway's brightest stars and patrons of the arts joined together for a festive celebration of the country's premier musical theatre training program.

Based on Tolstoy's short story 'The Two Hussars,' the modernized film is Rose's fourth Tolstoy adaptation.

When it comes to sky-high expectations, this production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has it harder than most, the challenge being how to satisfy an audience likely to have read and loved Roald Dahl's book and seen the story already realised - twice.

Starz brought Miami Beach to Tar Beach with a day-long consumer event featuring 'summer fun' vintage beach wear fashion shows (50s & 60s period designs, bikinis and one pieces), styled by Emmy Award winning costume designer, Carol Ramsey showcasing and inspired by the period series that premieres Friday, June 14th. Fans had a chance to view a classic 1959 convertible, take part in beach blanket bingo and other fun in the sun activities and be served by some of the most handsome cabana boys ever to take Manhattan. The Broadway Dreams Foundation will give aspiring performers across the country their big break with "Circle of Dreams," the 2013 Summer Performing Arts Intensive Tour. The national non-profit training program will present an incredible roster of Broadway directors, performers and industry insiders who will offer musical theatre training, mentoring and career opportunities through unique, week-long performing arts intensive workshops for students of all ages.

The Broadway Dreams Foundation will kick off its 2013 Summer Performing Arts Intensive Tour, titled 'Circle of Dreams,' at RISPA in Atlanta, GA on June 3, 2013 followed by week-long intensives in Charlotte, NC at Mathews Playhouse; UCLA in Los Angeles, CA; Omaha Performing Arts in Omaha, NE; KimMel Center for Performing Arts in Philadelphia, PA and Hartford Stage in Hartford, CT. The organization just celebrated the start of the season and the three new educational initiatives at a reception on May 20 at the Room Mate Grace Hotel in NYC. Philadelphia's Broadway dreams came true for the fourth consecutive summer when The Broadway Dreams Foundation (BDF) partnered with The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts to present their Summer Performing Arts Intensive, July 30 through August 5, 2012. Jason Robert Brown, Tony Award-winner for Parade, and a faculty of Broadway professionals taught master classes during the week to aspiring Philadelphia area students interested in pursuing a career in musical theatre.
