Opera Saratoga's Artistic and General Director Lawrence Edelson announced today complete casting for the three exciting new productions that will comprise the company's 2017 Summer Festival, which will build on the company's commitment to producing masterpieces from the operatic cannon, important American works, and works in which dance plays an integral role. In addition, a wide variety of free and ticketed concert events will be presented from May 28th through July 16th at venues throughout the region.  

2017 Regional Theatre Tony Award Recipient Dallas Theater Center will present the world premiere of Hood: The Robin Hood Musical Adventure, a new musical comedy written and directed by five-time Tony-nominated playwright Douglas Carter Beane with music and lyrics by Lewis Flinn.

'The Women of Padilla,' an extraordinary show, is now being performed at Two River ater (TRT) through April 30th. Written Tony Meneses with direction by Ken Rus Schmoll, the show features an all-female cast that brings the play's characters to life on the Red Bank Stage.

Two River Theater, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Dias and Managing Director Michael Hurst, continues its season with The Women of Padilla , a new play by Tony Meneses, directed by Ken Rus Schmoll.

The original music from off-Broadway's THE WOODSMAN - The Tragic Story of The Tin Man is available in a solo recording, composed and performed by violinist Edward W. Hardy. The album is produced by Jim McElwaine, and recorded and mixed by Jonathan Jetter at Right Angle Recording, New York, NY. Strangemen & Co., the company behind the critically acclaimed, Obie Award-winning production of The Woodsman, once again welcomes audiences into their creative process as they present their Fourth Annual aPlay & aParty tonight, October 14 and tomorrow, October 15 at 8 PM at The Bernie Wohl Center (647 Columbus Avenue).

The four week limited engagement will be at HERE Arts Center, located at 145 6th Ave. (enter on Dominick, 1 Block South of Spring). This production is a part of SubletSeries@HERE: a curated rental program, which provides artists with subsidized space and equipment, as well as technical support.
