Just in time for the launch of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra's momentous 100th-anniversary concert season, seven new musicians join the ensemble's roster, including two principals (viola and librarian), an associate principal (oboe), a violin, and three cellos—expanding the section by a full third.

After the Ball, a new album from two-time Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole, will be released in physical and digital formats on Friday, September 30.

The Colburn School has announced its 2022-23 season, which brings together the School's exceptional students and faculty with today's most esteemed artists in a wide variety of free or low-cost programs offered on campus and throughout Los Angeles.

LA Opera has announced the seven performers who will be joining the company this fall as new members of the Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist Program for the 2022/23 season. 

LA Opera has appointed Jeremy Frank as the company's new Chorus Director, beginning in the 2022/23 season.

LA Opera will present the grandest of grand operas, Giuseppe Verdi's Aida, from May 12 through June 12, 2022, conducted by Music Director James Conlon. 

Midori, one of the most renowned violinists of our time, will make a rare metro Detroit recital appearance on the Chamber Music Detroit series at Seligman Performing Arts Center Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 8:00 PM.

At 7:30pm on Saturday, June 4, 2022, LA Opera's production of Giuseppe Verdi's Aida will be transmitted live in high-definition video from nine cameras at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion to large LED screens at Newhall Park in Santa Clarita, Pomona Fairplex and the Santa Monica Pier.

Ravinia Festival has announced its complete 2022 summer lineup, offering 50 artist debuts and more than 100 concerts, including the annual summer residency of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO) with Chief Conductor Marin Alsop.

Symphony of the Americas Artistic Director Pablo Mielgo presents an evening tribute honoring Concertmaster Bogdan Chruszcz, and welcomes incoming Concertmaster, Scott Flavin.   The presentation will take place Sunday, March 13, with a 5:00 p.m. reception followed by the 6:00 p.m. specially-curated performance by Flavin and a post-performance dessert in the Mary Porter Ballroom at Broward Center for the Performing Arts.  

LA Opera’s next production St. Matthew Passion will open March 12, 2022, at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. On March 19, LA Opera will present two performances of Carla Lucero's The Three Women of Jerusalem (Las tres mujeres de Jerusalén), conducted by Music Director James Conlon and performed by a cast of hundreds in a monumental staging at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.

Music Director James Conlon will conduct three mainstage productions and Colombian-American conductor Lina González-Granados will make her company debut as Resident Conductor, the first Latina to hold a high-ranking conducting position with a major U.S. opera company. 

New England Conservatory has announced a series of fall master classes in-person and streaming live from the Boston campus this fall. Continuing with the technological innovations made during the pandemic, digital master classes and events by world-class artists open the doors of the Conservatory to anyone watching around the world.
