Gettysburg Community Theatre, the only year-round community theatre in Adams County, will present their production of The Carol Burnett Show LIVE on stage 2nd Edition September 9 & 16 at 7pm, September 10, 11, 17, & 18 at 2pm, and also streaming on demand any time September 23-25, 2022.

The Wick Costume Museum has undergone a dramatic high-tech transformation, resulting in a stunning new venue, rechristened The Museum Club at The Wick. The completely renovated space will feature immersive video experiences, historic costume displays, dining, and entertainment. The Gala Grand Opening is Friday, September 16, and includes an intimate concert by Christine Andreas.

The Road Theatre Company and Taylor Gilbert, Founder/Artistic Director together with Sam Anderson, Artistic Director, announce the first show of its 2022-2023Season, a world premiere comedy, ACCORDING TO THE CHORUS, written by Arlene Hutton (The Nibroc Trilogy) and directed by Emily Chase. It will begin previews on October 18.

​​​​​​​Hyde Park Art Center, the renowned non-profit hub for contemporary art located on Chicago's vibrant South Side, partners with experimental dance company The Seldoms for a series of free weekly performances and conversations in conjunction with the Toolbox @ Twenty exhibition.

Yan Chen, former Soloist with American Ballet Theatre, has been named to the dual positions of Principal Teacher for the ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School Pre-Professional Division and Rehearsal Director for ABT Studio Company. The appointments, effective September 6, were announced by Stella Abrera, Acting Artistic Director of the ABT JKO School and Sascha Radetsky, Artistic Director of ABT Studio Company.

LAUGH NOW OR GET OUT OF MY LIFE, a new documentary by Nick Varricchio, featuring the life and stories of Broadway veteran Peter Marinos will premiere at Village East by Angelika on October 3, 2022 at 6:30pm.

Returning this season are Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Dr. Wendy Osefo and Mia Thornton. Boston University College of Fine Arts has announced faculty appointments and promotions for the 2022-2023 academic year. A leading director in the country, Wendy Goldberg has been appointed a Full Professor in Directing at the CFA School of Theatre.

TimeLine Theatre Company has announced a one-week extension of its current hit world premiere comedy, Campaigns, Inc. TimeLine’s 26th season opener will now run through Sunday, September 25.

The Sledgehammer Series, a book project hosted by Sheila Callaghan’s Tripwire Harlot Press, and co-created with Sarah Ruhl and Jacqueline Goldfinger, will launch its first four Sledgehammer Series titles.
