Ralphie is coming to the rescue because it's the the seventh anniversary of A Christmas Story The Musical coming to Broadway! To celebrate us counting down to Christmas, we're looking back at the show's opening night at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, with the official Broadway debut of the now Oscar, Tony, and Grammy-winning songwriting duo of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Javanna Productions M.O.V.E. and Mackensi and Company present ZOE and Friends, a one night event to benefit the MORE THAN ME Foundation. MORE THAN ME operates in Liberia to provide girls in the West Point slum with access to Education. The MORE THAN ME Academy is the first tuition-free, all girls school in Liberia. In addition to education, MORE THAN ME provides young women with two meals a day, access to healthcare, a library and computer lab, and an after school program aimed at keeping girls off the streets.

Tonight, April 28, 2014, The New York Pops marks its 31st birthday with a grand gala evening celebrating the work of composer, lyricist, and arranger Marc Shaiman and director, lyricist, and writer Scott Wittman, as well as the leadership and mentorship work of corporate honoree Paul J. Massey, Jr., CEO and Founding Partner of Massey Knakal Realty Services. Gala Co-Chairs include Neil Heilberg, Todd Korren, William C. Montana, and James A. Read. Serving as Honorary Co-Chairs for the event are stars Matthew Broderick, Debra Messing, and Sarah Jessica Parker.
