Directed by Chris Williams, the film was in the Top 10 in 93 countries.

Cheyenne Jackson will be stepping into the roles of “The Wolf” and “Cinderella’s Prince” from July 24 through August 2 in the New York City Center Encores! production of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim’s beloved musical, Into the Woods at the St. James Theatre, as Tony Award winner Gavin Creel fulfills a prior commitment.

Dewey Finn gets kicked out of his band as well as fired from his record store job, so what does he do? Becomes a substitute teacher in an uptight private school and creates a rock band with his students! That’s the story in the hit movie “School of Rock” starring Jack Black - and now the musical version will shake the stage at Theatre in the Park opening Friday, July 1.

Highland Park Players will present the Tony Award nominee musical, School of Rock, based on the 2003 Jack Black movie of the same name. School of Rock runs November 11th through November 20th at the Northbrook Theatre.

The film also stars Halston Sage (“Paper Towns,” “Neighbors,” “Before I Fall,” “X-Men: Dark Phoenix,” “The Last Summer”), Andrew Richardson (“The Independent,” “Killer Among Us,” “A Call to Spy”) and Emmy Award nominee Aidan Quinn (“Practical Magic,”  “Legends of the Fall,” “Elementary,” “Law& Order: SVU,” “The American Guest”).

Torian Miller is an actor. His roots in performing came from acting and improve. He has been in Abbott Elementary, Wool, and most recently Fire Island where he played Max.

Netflix has shared the trailer for the new series KUNG FU PANDA: THE DRAGON KNIGHT. The film features Jack Black as Po, Rita Ora as Wandering Blade, James Hong as Mr. Ping, Chris Geere as Klaus Dumont, Della Saba as Veruca Dumont, Rahnuma Panthaky as Rukhmini, Ed Weeks as Colin and Amy Hill as Pei Pei.

Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow and Adam Scott star in “Celebrity Escape Room,” with Stiller and Black serving as executive producers for the one-hour show that combines the drama and tension of a real-life video game with all the fun and allure of the ultimate immersive game.

On Monday, May 9, Tony Award-winner Debbie Gravitte stormed the Birdland stage with another episode of her series “Plus 1,” with very special guest, songwriter Marc Shaiman. 

Award-winning comedic magician, Piff the Magic Dragon has teamed up with world-renowned golden-voiced clown, Puddles Pity Party, for their Misery Loves Company Tour, which will visit Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts (PTPA) on Sunday, May 22 at 7:00PM. Lobby and bar concessions open at 6pm.
