The Broadway Green Alliance will launch Earth Week by joining the Earth Day Initiative and March for Science NYC for their Earth Day 50 Virtual Kick-Off on Sunday, April 19 from 3:30pm - 10pm ET. As part of the special live stream, members of the Broadway community will join via virtual performance, sharing songs and messages of activism.

30 years after its stage debut, experiencing MISS SAIGON nowadays exposes just how outdated and out-of-touch it is with our increasingly diverse world view. The musical's original production---which first debuted in the West End in 1989 before transferring to Broadway in 1991---became a global hit despite some loud, very understandable controversy. Most audiences, however, ignored the accusations of orientalism, misogyny, and white-washing and instead focused on the show's epic melodrama and theatrical splendor, much of it powered by the lush music of Claude-Michel Schönberg and the lyrics by Alain Boublil and Richard Maltby Jr. The show continues at Orange County's Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa through October 13, 2019.

Buffalo audiences are in for a rare treat. The Broadway revival of the hit musical MISS SAIGON soared into town last night in what can only be described as a spectacular evening of theatre. First seen on Broadway in 1991 at the height of the megamusical phenomenon, MISS SAIGON continues to resonate with age. On Monday, July 2nd, cast members from the recent Broadway Revival of Miss Saigon will take to the stage of Feinstein's/54 Below for a one-night-only event. 

Cameron Mackintosh's Tony nominated revival of Boublil and Sch nberg's legendary musical Miss Saigon played its final Broadway performance last night after 340 performances. Miss Saigon began previews on March 1st and opened on March 23rd. After the final curtain, the cast, creative team and crew celebrated at Dream Hotel. Check out the exclusive photos below.

After the helicopter landed last night at the Broadway Theatre, the company of MISS SAIGON celebrated the show's triumphant return to its original home at the historic Tavern on the Green.  It was there that the cast took one of the musical's lyrics to heart and partied like it was the last night of the world. BroadwayWorld is taking you inside the opening night after party below!
