Come From Away is the show you can't miss in Lincoln this season.

Vanavond zijn, vanuit RTM Stage, de nieuwe grootste theaterzaal van Nederland, in Rotterdam Ahoy, de Musical Awards 2022 uitgereikt. De vakjury, bestaande uit Jon van Eerd, Hilde Scholten, Arno Gelder, Dianne Zuidema, Joy Kreiken, Maurice Luttikhuis, Michiel de Regt, Henriëtte Tol en Rennie Rijpma, heeft in 19 verschillende categorieën de winnaars verkozen. Grote winnaar is Disney's Aladdin met 7 awards. Aladdin ontving ook nog de Leukstetickets.nl Publieksprijs voor Beste Musical 2022, deze award werd uitgereikt door Stanley Burleson. De musical The Rocky Horror Show ontving de award voor Beste Kleine Musical en 14 de musical ontving de award voor Beste Nederlands Oorspronkelijke Musical.

Hershey Theatre today announced a full lineup of spectacular Broadway touring productions for the 2022-23 Broadway Series, a flagship season for the historic venue. 

Rachel Tucker, who is currently starring as Captain Beverley Bass in Come From Away on Broadway, will leave the production for two months to star in Season 2 of the TV show Hope Street. 

The Lied Center for Performing Arts has announced the national tour of COME FROM AWAY, a Broadway musical about the true story of the small town that welcomed the world, will make its Lincoln, NE debut at the Lied Center for a limited engagement on April 27- May 1.

Come From Away is set to play at the Center Theatre Group. Previews begin May 31. The production opens June 1 and plays through June 12, 2022. Tuesday through Friday performances are at 8 p.m., Saturday performances are at 2 and 8 p.m., and Sunday's are at 1 and 6:30 p.m. There are no Monday performances. Tickets range from $40 – $150. (Ticket prices are subject to change.)

Popejoy Presents and Haverland Carter Broadway in New Mexico have announced the national tour of COME FROM AWAY, a Broadway musical about the true story of the small town that welcomed the world, will open May 11 its Albuquerque debut at Popejoy Hall for a limited engagement May 11 – 15, 2022.

Na vakkundig beraad hebben zij hun nominaties bekend gemaakt. Disney's Aladdin en Come From Away zijn beiden met 12 nominaties het meest vertegenwoordigd direct gevolgd door Rocky Horror Show met 11 nominaties. Ook dit jaar kan het publiek bepalen welke musical van het afgelopen seizoen, volgens hen, de beste is via de Leukstetickets.nl Publieksprijs voor Beste Musical. Publiek kan sinds begin maart hun stem uitbrengen op leukstetickets.nl. De prijsuitreiking vindt plaats op 28 april 2022 in RTM Stage, de grote theaterzaal van Rotterdam Ahoy en wordt om 20.35 uur live uitgezonden door AVROTROS op NPO1. They call Gander, Canada 'The Rock.' However, they should really call not only Gander but the musical, Come From Away, a gem, as it is one of the rare musicals that not only is entertaining but also a brilliant reminder of the beauty of humanity.

This afternoon, Broadway veteran Joel Hatch has played his final show with the company of the hit musical, Come From Away. A member of the original cast, Joel Hatch has been with the show since it opened on Broadway just over five years ago on March 12th, 2017. He portrayed 'Claude & others' other characters throughout the production. Gene Weygandt will begin performances in the roles on Tuesday, March 22. Gene joins the company directly from the Australia cast of Come From Away.

Shea's Performing Arts Center has announced the M&T Bank 2022-23 Broadway Series and Special Engagements. Shea's Performing Arts Center President Michael G. Murphy and Broadway Partner Producer Albert Nocciolino unveiled the upcoming season today. The season includes thrilling new productions and beloved favorites on Shea's Buffalo stage beginning this September.
