The producers of Broadway's Gettin' The Band Back Together, are inviting Sayreville, NJ residents to attend the show's final dress rehearsal on Wednesday, July 18. The new musical comedy takes place in Sayreville and begins preview performances the next day, Thursday, July 19.

The career path for Ian Ward continues to shine from the glitz of the Las Vegas Strip to the bright lights of Broadway. Ward is part of the cast of 'Gettin' the Band Back Together' with previews at the Belasco Theatre beginning July 19 and scheduled to open Aug. 13.

Nominations for The British Academy Television Awards have been announced. The awards honor the very best in Television broadcast on British screens during the preceding year.

International Dance Festival Birmingham 2014 (IDFB) drew to a spectacular close on 25 May with an outdoor performance of hip hop show B-Town. Birmingham has been chosen as the host city for the World Festival of Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) in July 2016. The International Association of Theatre for Children and Young People, ASSITEJ, voted overwhelmingly at the 18th World Congress in Warsaw last week to hold the 2016 Festival in Birmingham. This will be the first time the festival will have been held in the UK.
