It is 35 years since The Commitments first burst from the pages of Roddy Doyle’s best-selling novel. The world's hardest working and most explosive soul band are set to return in an all new stage production, kicking off a huge nine month tour opening in Bromley in September.

Executive Producers AKA Studio Productions (“Rules of Cool,” Fullscreen) and Kierstead Productions (Broadway's Pretty Woman, Kinky Boots, Waitress) are pleased to announce the world premiere of the pilot episode for the original drama series Mulligan, an “Official Selection” at the 2018 Los Angeles Film Festival, one of three pilots in the world chosen to be screened at the prestigious festival.  The screening is set for Tuesday evening, September 26, 2018 at 7:15 p.m. at the Arc Light Theater (9500 Culver Blvd) in Culver City, CA. 

Zack Mayo is in training to become a US Navy Pilot. When he rolls into boot camp with a bit too much of a swagger, drill Sergeant Foley doesn't make life easy for him. When he falls for local girl Paula Pokrifki and tragedy befalls his friend and fellow candidate, Zack realises the importance of love and friendship and finds the courage to be himself and win the heart of the woman he loves. It's only then he can truly become an Officer and a Gentleman.

The full cast for the World Premiere of "AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN - THE MUSICAL" is officially announced. Emma Williams will play 'Paula Pokrifki', Jonny Fines is 'Zack Mayo', Ray Shell as 'Foley', Ian McIntosh as 'Sid Worley' and Jessica Daley as 'Lynette Pomeroy'.

Images have been released offering a first look at the world premiere production of An Officer and a Gentleman, which plays at Manchester's Opera House from Monday 13th - Saturday 18th August as part of its UK and Ireland tour.
