Matthew Seadon-Young, Barbara Drennan and Joseph Prouse, recently joined the West End cast of Beautiful - The Carole King Musical to play Gerry Goffin (Carole King's husband and song-writing partner), Genie Klein (King's mother) and Donnie Kirshner (music publisher and producer). Cassidy Janson continues in the title role as well as Lorna Want as song-writer Cynthia Weil, a role for which she won the 2015 Olivier for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical, and Ian McIntosh as song-writer Barry Mann. On 28 November 2016 Matthew Seadon-Young and Barbara Drennan will join the West End cast of Beautiful - The Carole King Musical to play Gerry Goffin (Carole King's husband and song-writing partner) and Genie Klein (King's mother) respectively.  

Today, the producers of BEAUTIFUL - THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL release for sale a further 200,000 tickets taking booking at the Aldwych Theatre to 22 July 2017. The performance schedule is Monday at 7.30pm, Tuesday at 2.30pm, Wednesday at 7.30pm, Thursday at 2.30pm and 7.30pm, Friday at 7.30pm and Saturday at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

Last night (Sunday 3 July 2016) in Hyde Park at the Barclaycard British Summer Time Festival, the cast of the West End hit BEAUTIFUL - THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL joined Carole King on stage for the finale of her sell-out 'Tapestry' Concert.

This weekend, the casts of more than 30 West End shows will perform for free in Trafalgar Square! WEST END LIVE 2016 will take place on 18 June (11am-6pm) and 19 June (12pm-6pm).  Gates open a half hour before the performances begin and it is first come first serve- so arrive early to get a good spot! See below for a full schedule of the 12th annual West End Live event.

Last night (23 February 2016) at the Aldwych Theatre the Olivier, Tony and Grammy award-winning Beautiful - The Carole King Musical celebrated its first birthday in the West End.  Celebrations included marking the February birthdays of Carole King, Barry Mann and the late Gerry Goffin, as well as the 45th anniversary of when King's Grammy- award winning album Tapestry was released.  Check out the pics of the bash below!

Cassidy Janson has recently joined the West End production of Beautiful - The Carole King Musical to play the title role alongside Diane Keen as Genie Klein, King's mother.   Alan Morrissey continues as King's husband and song-writing partner Gerry Goffin alongside Ian McIntosh as song-writer Barry Mann and Gary Trainor as music publisher and producer Don Kirshner.  Lorna Want continues as song-writer Cynthia Weil, a role for which she won the 2015 Olivier for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical.  Check out the new production shots below!

Cassidy Janson will join the West End production of Beautiful - The Carole King Musical to play the title role from30 November 2015.   Also joining the cast will be Diane Keen as Genie Klein, King's mother.

Cassidy Janson, of London's WICKED, will take over the title role in BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL from Katie Brayben, starting November 30, 2015 at the Aldwych Theatre. 

In a recent interview with Center on the Aisle, Tony winner Jessie Mueller discussed her appearance at Carnegie Hall this weekend, her role in the new WAITRESS musical, and, of course, the upcoming BEAUTIFUL film adaptation.

BEAUTIFUL, THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL opened the 2015 Olivier Awards with a performance of the title song 'Beautiful' performed by 2015 Best Actress in a Musical Olivier Award Winner Katie Brayben followed by a full company performance of 'I Feel the Earth Move'.

As scooped first by BroadwayWorld.com earlier this week here, the hit Broadway musical BEAUTIFUL is headed to the big screen. Sony pictures confirmed today that 'The film version of 'Beautiful' will be produced by Tom Hanks; Gary Goetzman, a producer whose movie credits include 'Mamma Mia!' in 2008; and Paul Blake, the lead producer of 'Beautiful' on Broadway. Douglas McGrath, who wrote the book for the stage production, will work on the screenplay.'
