Jackie Hoffman and Jim Brochu Lead Industry Reading of THE HANUKAH GIFT

A private industry reading of the new play, The Hanukah Gift will take place on Monday, March 11, 2019, at 1:30 PM at the Actors' Temple Theater (339 West 47th Street) in NYC. A new play by Douglas Braverman, The Hanukah Gift stars Jackie Hoffman and Jim Brochu.

La Jolla Playhouse Announces Another Extension For DIANA

Due to incredible popular demand, La Jolla Playhouse announces a second week-long extension for its world premiere musical Diana, from the Tony Award-winning Memphis creative team of Joe DiPietro (librettist/lyricist), David Bryan (composer/ lyricist) and Playhouse Artistic Director Christopher Ashley (director), along with Tony Award nominee Kelly Devine (choreographer) and Ian Eisendrath (music supervisor).

Duruflé Requiem & Dale Trumbore's Present HOW TO GO ON this March

Two works representing the sacred and the secular, and also representing the Los Angeles Master Chorale's past and present, will be performed in Walt Disney Concert on Sunday, March 17 at 7 PM. Maurice Duruflé's Requiem was written by the French composer in 1947 and has become one of the most-beloved choral compositions of the 20th century. The Requiem has been given storied performances by the Master Chorale since the 1960s. Dale Trumbore describes her work How to Go On as a “secular requiem” and the work — commissioned by the non-profit, Southern California-based Choral Arts Initiative — was premiered in July 2016 and subsequently saw Trumbore awarded the ASCAP Young Composers Award in 2017. The March 17 concert will be the Los Angeles Master Chorale's first performance of the work.

Trustus Theatre Staff Members Awarded With Two Prestigious SC Theatre Association Awards

Trustus Theatre is proud to announce that Artistic Director Chad Henderson and Company Member Martha Hearn Kelly have been honored by the South Carolina Theatre Association with two prestigious awards. Henderson was awarded The Founders Award, and Kelly was awarded the Debora Hoffman Outstanding Mentor Teacher Award. The South Carolina Theatre Association will host its annual awards celebration on May 18 at 7pm in Greenville, South Carolina at the Birch Room in the Residence Inn/Spring Hill Suites.

TEVYE SERVED RAW Ends Limited Return Engagement Today

Transport Group has announced that its annual A Toast to the Artist gala will honor Tony Award-winning orchestrator Michael Starboin and composer Carmel Dean with the Transporting American Theatre Award. The evening takes place Monday, March 11 at 6:30pm at The Current, Pier 59 @ Chelsea Piers, and includes a cocktail party, seated dinner, performances, dessert reception, and silent and live auctions. The Transporting American Theatre Award recognizes significant contributions to the American Theatre. FIDDLER ON THE ROOF IN YIDDISH Begins Previews Tonight at Stage 42

Producers Hal Luftig and Jana Robbins in association with Sandy Block announced that the critically-acclaimed National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF) production of Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish begins previews on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Stage 42 (422 W 42nd St.). The production will open officially on Thursday, February 21, 2019 and will play a limited engagement through June 30, 2019.
