“Elevator Hum” channels the LA sunshine under which the new album was recorded and is built on a loose groove and a laidback, almost calypso rhythm which underpins the track. The song is colourful and confident and follows the leftfield pop of Sympathy and restless euphoria of Nothing Works that reintroduced him earlier this year.

Although Geoff Sobelle’s life currently focuses on food – or, more aptly, FOOD – he admits that he’s never considered himself a “foodie.” In fact, he’s never really used the term. “I have two toddlers at home,” he says. “So, we don’t go out to restaurants very much at all, and that seems a big part of being a foodie. With toddlers, my life has changed.”

This EP finds the band building off the emotionally devastating pop-rock sounds that they've become known for. The EP leads the listener through a myriad of crushing riffs, melancholic pop melody & anthemic choruses pulsing with energy as Sahyoun details his journey to finding himself as an artist again, but this time through a different lens. 

An infectious and down-tempo club banger, during the creation of the track Lo5ive leaned into his multi-genre sensibilities to blend the tones of funky house crossover classics (such as Crazy Cousins'remix of Kyla's ‘Do You Mind?' and Dennis Ferrer's ‘Hey Hey') and fresh Afro house vibes with inspiration from Keinemsuik's ‘Champion'.

Aida comes to Warsaw in December. Performances run 8 December - 4 February at Teatr Wielki.

The 17-date run will kick off in Portugal on 29th May 2024 at Lisbon's Coliseu dos Recreios, continuing with shows and festivals in Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Scotland, Ireland before wrapping in the UK at the iconic OVO Arena Wembley and Birmingham's Utilita Arena.
