Sky Studios and HBO announce that Academy Award, Golden Globe and BAFTA nominated actress Naomie Harris (Moonlight, Skyfall), will join the cast of The Third Day, alongside Jude Law.

HBO presents, in association with Sky, the four-part limited series CATHERINE THE GREAT, debuting MONDAY, OCT. 21 (10:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT).

Award-winning comedian, actor and writer Jack Whitehall has added additional warm up dates to his forthcoming UK and Ireland tour, Stood Up, with the new shows going on sale this Friday 30th August at 10am (fan presale at 10am on 28th August), available from www.ticketmaster.co.uk/jack-whitehall and www.jackwhitehall.com. The Canadian Donald Sutherland will be honoured with a Donostia Award recognising his more than fifty years of excellent performances. The actor, who has participated in almost 200 productions, will attend the 67th edition of the San Sebastian Festival on Thursday 26 September to receive the accolade prior to the screening in the Kursaal of The Burnt Orange Heresy, a thriller directed by Giuseppe Capotondi. The film, with a cast featuring Mick Jagger, Claes Bang and Elizabeth Debicki will close the coming edition of the Venice Festival.

After five years away from TV due to a career-threatening illness, award-winning magician Dynamo returns to screens next year with a new, jaw-dropping three part special, Project 7 (w/t), for Sky One and NOW TV that promises to change the face of magic on television.

Sky original Brassic, the edgy new comedy drama co-created by Joseph Gilgun and BAFTA-winning writer Danny Brocklehurst, has been commissioned for a second series ahead of the premier of the first series, with all episodes available today on Sky One and on streaming service NOW TV.

BAFTA nominee Billie Piper (Collateral, Doctor Who) will lead the cast of a new Sky original drama I Hate Suzie. Written by Emmy-nominee and critically acclaimed Lucy Prebble (Succession, Enron) and co-created by Piper, I Hate Suzie will air on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in 2020.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Michael Rooker will join the Fast and Furious franchise for its upcoming ninth film.

Deadline reports that UFC fighter Francis 'The Predator' Ngannou will join the ninth installment of the Fast & Furious franchise, due out May 22.
