On November 9th, Blonde Medicine will release Eric Lampaert's new comedy album Alien of Extraordinary Ability, based on his critically acclaimed show of the same name, which he performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The title is a reference to the U.S. Department of Immigration classification of the same name that gives priority to visa-seekers who demonstrate 'extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics.' Lampaert currently holds citizenship in three different countries (France, UK and USA), most recently becoming a U.S. citizen after his marriange to a 'nice lady' from Pittsburgh (this will make more sense once you've listened to the album). Lampaert's relationship with the audience on his album is teasingly confrontational, but he skirts each issue so charmingly that he never completely ventures into heel territory. 

Tony Award-winner Jefferson Mays (and his many characters) will grace the Gil Cates Theatre stage of the Geffen Playhouse for his one-man adaptation of Charles Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL, already in previews, with opening night set for November 7, 2018. Disney has released a new music video featuring Andrea Bocelli and his 20-year-old son Matteo Bocelli singing the beautifully poignant "Fall on Me" from the "Nutcracker and the Four Realms."

Walt Disney Records is set to release the original motion picture soundtrack to Disney's 'The Nutcracker and the Four Realms'on October 26. Composer James Newton Howard was tapped to create the score and it was recorded by The Philharmonia Orchestra in London with esteemed conductor Gustavo Dudamel. Featuring world-renowned pianist Lang Lang. Disney's holiday feature film 'The Nutcracker and the Four Realms' opens in U.S. theaters on Nov. 2.

Totem Pole Playhouse, America's beloved summer theatre located in Caledonia State Park between Gettysburg and Chambersburg, PA, has announced the opening of the Totem Pole Playhouse Academy. The new performing arts training center will be housed in the Playhouse's recently renovated rehearsal space named after Totem Pole's former Artistic Producer and Directors, Carl Schurr and Wil Love.

Mackenzie Foy, who plays Clara in the upcoming fantasy adventure “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms,” surprised guests at Disney California Adventure's Sunset Showcase Theater in Hollywood Land tonight after they caught a sneak peek of footage from Disney's 2018 holiday feature film. For a limited time beginning tomorrow, Oct. 5, guests visiting Disney Parks will be able to preview footage from the movie in sneak peeks planned for Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles (BAFTA Los Angeles) is pleased to announce that British actor and comedian Jack Whitehall will return as host for the third time for the 2018 British Academy Britannia Awards. For the first time ever, BritBox, the subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) streaming service from BBC Studios and ITV, will live stream the annual British Academy Britannia Awards to U.S. and Canada audiences, as part of a new multi-year partnership with BAFTA Los Angeles.

National Theatre Live broadcasts return to the McAninch Arts Center, located at 425 Fawell Blvd. on the campus of College of DuPage, as part of the MAC's 2018-2019 Season. Kicking off the series today, Oct. 4 will be "Julie," a contemporary adaptation of August Strindberg's masterpiece, "Miss Julie."
